Omer Riza: “ I believe I’m the right person to do the job

Wed Apr 16, 2025 4:30 pm

Riza you Clown you’ve Won 1 in 10 and 5 games in 29 games:

Omer Riza:

“ I believe I’m the right person to do the job and that won’t change.”

“We hadn't lost in four games but only the three points against Blackburn. We are disappointed and we feel pain and want to make it right."

"I haven’t been given assurances regarding my job, but I’ve been given the job and until such a time I’m told differently I’ll continue to do my job to the best of my ability and that’s it.”

"No one’s come out and said ‘you’re here until the end of the season’ – they’d be stupid to do that if they’ve got other things in their minds.”

"But I’m not concerned about the fact…if they [the board] feel someone could come in and save Cardiff from going down and do a better job than me, then I’m happy for that to happen. I don’t believe that’s the case,”

“ I believe I’m the right person to do the job and that won’t change.”

“If I felt I wasn’t the right person to do the job I would have said a long time ago I don’t feel I can do it and step away but that isn’t the case."

“I am sitting here and doing my job. I am making sure the players are ready to the best of their ability on Friday.”

"In respect of the team, the players. We are all trying to work together to get the best team out on the pitch, whether they are fit or performing and getting the balance right to get the result we are looking for.”

“We hadn't lost in four games but only the three points against Blackburn. We are disappointed and we feel pain and want to make it right."

I feel sorry for him, he’s way out of his depth and been left to suffer the brunt of our anger by Tan. He should have been taken out of this situation a long time ago.

If "the job" that he's the right man to do is get us relegated then I have to agree with him.

Used to feel sorry for him, but his comments over the last few weeks have really pissed me off actually.

He needs to get over himself and realise how shit he is at this job.

I’m not into personal name calling on an honest guy ‘trying’ to do his job.

However, he definitely is out of his depth and should have been replaced after the Leeds debacle.

Personally, I blame Tan ad Tan only as the board have nothing to do with this.

He hasn't been left at all he could and should have stepped down either after Leeds or Luton no ones forced him to stay to face the fans? many a decent manager have fallen on their sword in similar situations... I don't understand why he hasn't stepped down its no good him wanting fans support when he's done nothing to have it in fact he's done complete opposite

Tan you have always been a disaster as a football club owner, but now you are an idiot and a stubborn one at that, for not only hiring this rookie out of depth “learning on the job” unknown as the man to navigate a relegation battle, but not for sacking him the many opportune moments you have had. It’s still not too late, look at him he looks drained and his words are folly. How are our players meant to be inspired and motivated by that, and referring to us as clueless ? Did I get that right?!!!!

Tan Riza Purse Dalman Choo Nash , you are not wanted. Get out of our club.

Hardly any managers resign now as they know they’ll get paid off if they get sacked. I can’t blame him for that, he’s been left in the lurch by Tan in my opinion.

He’s clueless and I think unable to get us out of this situation.

Agree he won't get us out of the situation... probably right about managers now? Just shows no principles left in football him staying... but he actually could have said I would like to return to my contracted position as a coach? He was only given job until end season he would still be employed by club ?

Yeah it’s not right but that’s the rules I suppose.

I genuinely hope he gets us out of this situation and then we never see him near the club again. I fear that if he stays we will go down, in fact I think it’s too late either way. Tan is to blame for this.

I wouldn’t trust the muppet to tie his own shoe laces in the morning.

Can’t see him being at our next home game after this. He sh.t out after the last game, running down the tunnel like a little rat, leaving the players to do his dirty work.
