“Fitness-wise, we’ve lost Isaak Davies in training yesterday with a slight hamstring problem, we don’t know yet when he will be back?”

What the hell do they do to their hamstrings? The most appalling season on and off the pitch, all coming back to haunt us.

I've never known a club suffer so many hamstring injuries over a season, there's obviously an issue with training or recovery methods

Arsenal have an injury problem where they're questioning training ect seem city have similar problem...it does happen but unfortunately its wrong season to happen to our players.

You are defo wrong there Pembroke. I’ve said all season that the players are badly prepared. Too many hamstring injuries for it to be otherwise. The warm up prior to a game is pathetic. A few gentle exercises and then when the game starts they have to sprint. It can only go one way can’t it.

Not the first time this has happened to Davies.
If it was Robinson, we'd all be saying it's because he injury prone.
But they never say that about Davies, maybe because he came from the academy.

Robinson doesn't put enough effort into his running to have to worry about hamstring injuries.

Over training him or wrong training methods, our players are made of glass

Hamstrings are on the up throughout pro football. ACL's in the womens game. I do wonder about those blade boots they all use on the semi-woven pitches. I could be talking complete tosh though

No you're probably right theres been lots of things said about bladed boots from slipping to catching foot on the grass and causing injury as it doesn't give way like natural grass... maybe it's because ccs pitch is perfect so causing more injuries but take look at Derby and others which have beare patches do they produce less injuries.?

I remember when a slight injury meant a few days out...now it's indefinite. WTF

I think the problem is over training rather than the opposite. The more you build your legs up the more likely things like hamstrings and calf injuries will go. And when they go they go.

Never heard of hamstrings back in the day of mud, and cold soaking wet days and nights on grass and a coloured football in the snow and ice...

Should not have been offered a new contract. Not consistent enough for the Championship, Saturdays game proved that and far too injury prone. Another stupid decision by the club amongst so many others.

Probably right as football is all about pressing opposition and after doing that its full speed back to defence lot strain on calf and hamstrings
