This has been clarified by the club SLO - Cian Ashford did visit the fan and NO players refused.
A FAN CALLED DANIEL PRITCHARD WHO WAS INVITED TO FAB MEETING 48HRS LATER OUT OUT OURE LIES ABOUT PLAYERS:
City player Ashford attended.
SLO PAUL CORKY:
“I went with Cian to see the fan,NO players refused, it was great to see Dewi who really appreciated the visit and the signed shirt we took him...since the visit we had the sad news that Dewi has passed away ,so it was important we visited when we did.”
Updated
Give this call on X a listen, it came out at the FAB meeting this week that an unnamed player refused to go and see a life long city fan who is terminal and wanted to meet his current favourite player. The player refused stating he didn’t want to travel that far from the stadium, apparently the fan is only up in the valleys.
Instead Cian Ashford attended to meet the fan. Massive respect to Cian for taking time out to spend time with this fan.

Glad Cian got out there, please pass on my condolences to the family.
Why would they mention this then from the meeting? Rumours have already started, Ng, Robbo, Yak all been suggested but apparently the club are standing firm on not naming the player. What do Central First gain from running with this?? Especially with how emotions were yesterday after the match

Thanks for clearing that up Corky.
Pleased that he got to meet Cian Ashford. Sorry to hear the sad news, condolences to his family.

Daniel came to the meeting with Jon ,it was a routine SLO travel group meeting ..we discussed operation things with the fans, mostly past and upcoming games.
he has totally misunderstood what happened and it's dangerous putting inaccurate information out to the public..
it's a tough season for all of us, but the players have made loads of home visits this season ,most of which you would not have heard about and many fans have been made up to see them.

Thank you for clearing that up Corky

it’s a shame they’ve misunderstood it and announced it whilst emotions were high after yesterday

I think this Daniel person has been misguided and appears to have his own agenda surrounding this Central thing. It’s not the first time it’s happened either
He should put out an apology for the anguish his comments on that specific platform have created. From what I can see, it’s not directly Cardiff City orientated

Such a sad state of affairs and my condolences. It shows that there are far more important things than football.
If its appropriate, and to confirm, that it was not me that accompanied Dan at the meeting.

I heard this Daniel Pritchard was one of the original Tan out group members, who quickly changed sides when he got offered a job to do interviews and then said he was all for Tan lol
He’s quite bitter and twisted and has been stirring fans up.

It looks like Pritchard is using the illness of a City fan to become famous himself, absolutely disgusting, ban him.

It's been said that this Daniel chap misunderstood the situation. Whether or not he did could we as fans have an assurance that his card is marked and under no circumstances is he to release any statement what so ever again.we have enough to contend with without this sort of thing coming up. And my condolences to the family

I am so sorry I put this up, I feel like sh!t over it, thank you to Corky for putting the record straight and to Annis/ admin who changed the topic title, added the update before my actual post.
I meant no foul with it, was just passing on and commenting on it to help make others aware, it wasn’t my intention to slag players down.
Thank you to Cian Ashford for spending time with the gentleman and my sincerest condolences go out to his family at such a devastatingly hard time, I recently lost my mother and know first hand what the family are going through.
I will, in future, check before posting such reports.

You did right.
Daniel should never have posted anything like he did in the first place.
