We’ve heard so many rumours over the years on here.

Transfer rumours that seem plausible through to the un believable such as Tan ringing Riza 12 times a game.

This isn’t a pop at the posters of those threads, they are most likely doing it in good jest after what they have heard or been told, but the fact of the matter is that they were all wrong.

This doesn’t help the club, players, or fans in any way shape or form.

We have even had contradicting rumours in the last 24 hours.

Back in the day Carl used to have accurate snippets that were spot on, so much so i used to think they were plants, then Wez had moments in the sun with early transfers medicals, but other than tha,t its been a blackout from the club and pure guesswork

If I trust a rumour, I'll post it. But in future I'll definitely hold back, last couple of times the information has been incorrect - can only apologise for that.

You're probably right that it doesn't help when there's differing rumours, but the lack of communication from the club on so many things means they're not helping themselves either.

All it takes is Dalman to say to BBC/Glen Williams that Riza is staying or that there will be a board meeting to decide things in the next couple of days - something like that.

But we just hear nothing, and keep on hearing nothing, from them.

Like original post said, not having a pop at any of the posters. They are just posting what they are being told

I used to love Carl’s Updates, they were a great feature and done in good faith; but sadly, the ne’er-do-wells on here used it as a tool with which to knock!

Information is a rare commodity under the current regime and in some ways it’s quite refreshing. However, as Tottenham Hotspur are finding out, information does ‘slip out’ when you have disgruntled employees. It’s the same in any walk of life

Not having a go directly, but I’m actually a little surprised at this thread, as any Forum is simply a conduit for interested parties and should be taken with the merit each ‘snippet’ deserves, i.e. not to be taken as gospel until it becomes ‘official’ via the club or another legitimate source

It’s called ‘Forum Life’ and it’s what it is. People can take or leave the content and they free to join in, debate, agree, disagree, ignore or leave. Their prerogative…

It actually riles me a little as I feel most just want to be - ‘look at me, I know something’

I find it both sad and laughable especially the guy that’s adds a silly wink emoji as if he’s clever.

Some of the claims made on this forum recently are just ridiculous and most of them just made up lies

This weekend was one of the worst…going from Riza has been sacked to he will definitely be here next season within a couple of hours

It’s all getting a bit farcical now
