Season Ticket Poll

Who’s renewing their Season Ticket

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 10:08 am

I'll be there sadly, but that’s blind faith more than anything. Our team needs us more than ever (not that they deserve it).

I fully respect people that don’t choose to renew though.

Yes, I'll be there.

Some may say they won't because they're "boycotting" against the owner, I just find it funny that they didn't decide to boycott against him over the last 15 years but suddenly will next season - maybe they just don't want to watch third tier football.

A very valid point, I didn’t watch my club in the Premier league due to the rebrand. Boycotting just because we are shit isn’t an excuse in my humble opinion.

Good point, but the boycott would be against watching a relegation fighting team season after season.
If the team were on the rise and looked capable of promotion, the tide would turn no matter who the owner was or which division we were in!
Currently, there is no optimism about the club at all, whether we survive the drop or not and that is on Tan's head.
How can you keep supporting that?

Spot on he’s laughing at us trying to take a stand against the board what other action can we take ffs we have no power

I don't support the owner one bit and you are spot on with what you say about him.

But not renewing season tickets will hurt nobody apart from the fans. Tan can continue to run the club on the cheap with lower season ticket sales, that's what he'll do anyway.

Only people it would hurt is ourselves so in my opinion it's an empty gesture.

I will be renewing.

Well said guys. I'll be there whatever league we are in.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

It doesn’t matter the league we are in I was there in League two and enjoyed it.I want to support city but don’t want to support Tan or Mehmet unless action is taken , get Riza out is a start . They are taking the piss keeping Riza and having positive talks with him for next season , that’s what he said in one of his press things. He’s here to stay and does not have a clue how to manage a team.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 12:47 pm

I will regardless of division we're in? but if riza still here I won't be going for awhile....I want to go to games expecting to win not hoping we will?

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 12:52 pm

The division does not decide if I renew or not.

Riza being here or another manager with no experience does. I go to football for enjoyment, without that what is the point.

Exactly don't mind losing that's football but it's the manner we are losing that is the problem.. not once have I gone to ccs expecting a win that's an awful indictment of the management.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

We will be renewing as per usual but I can't blame fans who decide not to, as at times, in fact, most of the time, it's become a chore.

The last FAB meeting talked about STs not turning up and a variety of possible reasons were given but as we all know, the reason for this is the "quality of product" which has been piss poor for many seasons and as we are painfully aware has got gradually worse.

And I note that there's still the usual deafening radio silence from the inept board while we are in our death throes. Clueless.

We know it's the football being played at ccs and so should the board dalman/Ken know as been enough times to see but tan obviously doesn't care about that for some reason..at times can't give away two best seats in stadium when we can't go? even Damon corporate manage isn't excited about having them. :o ..

The longer he stays the more I think his appointment was an act of malice against the fans and possibly Dalman for trying to tell him what to do.

Don’t know the culture in Malaysia but he’s clearly a very vindictive man and I wouldn’t be surprised at his age if he’s decided that already having hundreds of millions is enough and it’s worth squandering this asset for the personal satisfaction of taking away our enjoyment with the team.

The timing was around that letter and they gave Riza the job to get at the fans is what I believe as well. We have pissed Tan and the board off and they want to get relegated , going by the actions of not sacking Riza they know we are going down and they are laughing at the fans and the pain it’s causing us. Then rubbing there hands that there’s supporters that will renew how ever badly they get treated.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 1:56 pm

I'll be in the minority here, but i think a season in L1 could be good for the club. We have a talented bunch of kids who have only ever known back-foot football, always the underdog, always "fighting" (as if).

I am a massive fan of Rubin I can see the talent, but the poor bugger whether for Wales or City is always living off scraps. His talent is not enough to raise a L1 team playing in the championship with a non-league coaching staff.

I am keeping my powder dry until i see what Tan is doing this summer. Get me a proven coaching TEAM and i'll be happy. It can't be the assistant to the assistant, a poor U21, a guy out of the game for years and whatever Rasmut does again.

I can't believe i am saying this, but oh, for Neil Harris and his team, that will do for me.

Get some confidence and ringcraft into these kids with a few older heads, not cripples, and we may start getting on the up and up again.

I need another category- Wait and see, but probably yes in August

Doesn't matter how many people renue or not he will still lose £20m+ in income and saleable value of club not sure why people think losing £100m is nothing ? And st sales is peanuts in comparison .... probably only thing boycotting st will do is make ccs more souless than it is at times which effects team.

We really have no power it will be a killer to stop going ,but I can’t stand seeing Riza another season , those subs yesterday were shocking he is not a manager , he’d be a shit manager of McDonald’s he has no skills.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:05 pm

No for me and my 3 daughters, no matter what division we are in. Not until Tan, Dalman, Choo and Riza have fucked off. Won't even watch on TV. The life and soul has been sucked out of the club.

Will put the money used following Cardiff to better use.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:24 pm

I don't have a season ticket being so far away, but I will be renewing my city tv yearly pass as soon as it's announced whatever division we're in. We've been here before & will be again, never stopped the diehards from supporting CCFC.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:27 pm

Not until Riza is gone every one has a tipping point

Re: Season Ticket Poll

Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:44 pm

I agree with m4 exile I believe tan to be a vindictive individual now teaching the hard core fans for boycotting the red. I will renew , it's in my blood and I can't do anything about it. Just hope sense is seen and someone with a bit of passion for the club is bought in to motivate whoever is left.

Re: Season Ticket Poll

No not till tan goes the snakes head needs coming off our club is terminally ill he’s killing us the only way we will win is starve the germ

We don't have much control that's for sure yes protest in anyway people feel fit to.. history tells you it doesn't work... losing even more money in div 1 is more of an influence than protests.... you can only cut so far if he cuts according to income ect we are stuck in div 1 or worse for forceable future which means he'll lose even more money relegation is the line which way will he go thats the question? Stay and suffer bigger losses or leave with a deal regarding his investment.
