Omer continued: “It was always going to be a cagey game, and there were moments in the first half where we couldn’t apply the press the way we wanted to because they manipulated the ball well. We didn’t create enough when we had the ball, and that was disappointing.

"In the second half we went out to try and win the game. We went with as many attacking options as we could, but moments in games are key, and we’ve lost because of a basic moment that we have to deal with.”




The manager ended by looking ahead to the final four games of the season.

“We’ve still got four games to play and twelve points to play for, albeit they are tough games,” Omer concluded. “But if you’re going to get promoted you’ve got to win games, and it’s the same if you want to stay up. If we’re going to do it, we have to do it, it’s as simple as that. If we don’t, then the writing will be on the wall.”

"We haven’t done enough today, but Sheffield United have lost their last three games and need to win, so we have to go there and try and win, and we will go there with belief.”

I thought after the defeat ok we’ve lost but a positive will be Riza will get sacked but fk me he’s still here.
