Match Day Experience

Thu Apr 03, 2025 8:52 am

The morgue like atmosphere for all but three or four home games has indirectly affected performances on the pitch.

Rumours of people being spoken to for “over celebrating “ 5 match bans and the like being handed out , and at times over zealous stewardship has eroded the integrity of our passionate support.

The dreadful home form is a direct consequence of the above mindsets and whoever is responsible for the home game experience must take responsibility in some way, should the club lose its championship status.

I doubt there is a process to put these views to people above these decision makers which is why nothing gets done and the same people keep making the same mistakes time and time again.

Imagine trying to shift season tickets with the above logic :laughing6:

Wayne Nash and tan riza purse we would all benifit if they f.cked off but they are like your own shadow you cannot escape from
Maybe at the end of the season we may have some movement.

This has happened for years since Tan took over ,people stopping going and nothing is being done to try and keep the fans . Just a disrespectful owner and board and match day staff. That’s disgusting to search a 79 year old how much lower can the club get.

I'm one of those season ticket holders who just can't be arsed / motivated, call it what you will to attend this season.

The whole match day experience has disappeared down the city, early kick offs, dreadful stewarding, beer, food prices and that's before I even get onto the subject of the manager, team etc.

For me it wasn't just about winning, it was about being part of a movement, the city fan base has been well known throughout all leagues ever since I started going in the 70s. The early years we were famous for all the wrong reasons ( in fairness we weren't on our own ). We have always been know for our away support, numbers and vocal support of whoever pulled on the blue shirt.

Then Mr Tan came along and it all changed as we all know.

I'm now at the point where the last couple of seasons have broken my resolve,

Mr Tan, Mr Nash you have won, you have succeeded in your mission to make Cardiff City soulless.

Do I want the city to avoid relegation ?, my view changes daily, as a fan no I don't, however, what happens if we do survive, any season like this one ?, what's the point, we just carry on spinning on that hamster wheel.

Will relegation change anything for the better ? Who knows.

I wake up every day hearing that renowned saying " if you carry on doing what your always doing, you'll carry on getting what you always get !!!
