A lot of people missing tonight?

Sat Mar 15, 2025 6:28 pm

Interesting that the usual names who were quick to react to the results against Luton, Sunderland, Leeds etc aren't reacting on here to today's win?

The cynic in me wonders if that would be the case had we lost.

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

I was thinking the same. A win today has really disappointed some on here.

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

Agreed

But it seems to happen both ways.

It actually winds me up.

Who cares.

A huge away win. 2 full weeks rest and prep. 4 winnable games ahead.

Massive massive win today but do we change the manager we have 8 big games to go I would get Steve cooper in if not Gary O'Neill WE NEED TO STAY UP

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

Massive win.. well done Yak
did fear the worst when I saw line up, however, Blackburn were poor.
We will need to play so much better to get points from Shef Wed.
Players need to step up too.. Colwill.. ffs you are over 6ft.. put some physical effort in..

Was a cracking unexpected 3 points well done riza and the players, need to try and put a run together now as it looks like it will be more than the 46 points I thought would be needed for survival

Great result, at best i was hoping for a draw, Derby seem to be on a run (there's always one team) so a vital win. Riza now has to get this right at home.

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

I’m here and still not convinced we are staying up will we win every game like Derby are doing ? We need an experienced manager , one win against a team having a bad patch ,and now saying a lot of people missing is pathetic . I care for the club and want to stay up I won’t go missing .

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

Sat Mar 15, 2025 8:37 pm

Great win and hopefully we can get a few more.
Not confident of staying up as Derby are resurgent but at least we can celebrate tonight .

Narrowly lost to Leeds so didn’t over react to that one  but I have Sunderland and Luton due to the silly tactics . We are far from safe I can’t enjoy this win as much as some people the club are 1 point above derby who are on the up.

Re: A lot of people missing tonight?

Sat Mar 15, 2025 10:52 pm

Relieved with the 3 points.

Had a funny feeling we would get something today. Even though I was critical of starting line up

Fish , Mannsverk , Salech very good, Alves and issak too.

Over the moon for those who trekked up , that’s as important as anything

Riza still not my man for this job, relegation still as threatening despite this positive result

I agree with Cantonbluebird.. a fine 3 points but just papering over the cracks...need experienced head in charge Riza tinkers too much what would you be saying if they had a penalty we would be in relegation places.

Signing in, Escaped the city gloom for the rugby :P

Riza shouldn't be anywhere near the championship

New manager doesn't guarantee results look at Blackburn

Spot on after Tuesday the board should have been lining someone up to take over for the international break get us ready for the battle ahead. Riza can leave on a high after the win. Or stay on as a coach and learn from an experienced manager. Won’t happen the board will be in London and Monaco , Malaysia not even thinking about the city.

So you have the balls to start a thread saying A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE MISSING TONIGHT, and when your called out to name them you ignore it. So whats the point of the thread.

Is he bound to follow your directions?

In terms of the thread, you knew it was going to happen Ned.

Today they are back with negative posts looking for anything at all to pin on Riza.

Like I’ve said before, losing to Luton the way we did was unforgivable and I’m hoping we show some ambition in the summer.

I will criticise Riza when needed, and yesterday we made it a lot harder than it needed to be.

But I will be happy that we got the three points at such a crucial time.

Too many people on here seemingly wanting us to lose to say ‘told you so’.

Unlike some, I don't like to target certain posters to belittle or insult. Making a general point that those who would be going mad on here had we lost, went missing.

I'm not going to name them because I don't want to go down the sad route that others do, that route is targeting other posters.

So no, I won't name them.

I certainly won't be tossing the manager or players off after one win. We will probably lose the next three knowing this lot which means the Blackburn win which we could of lost to be fair means nothing but we got a result we needed badly, three points are three points that's all that matters how they come about or how we play don't matter when your winning in a dog fight down the bottom end :bluescarf:

Spot on Ian, all that matters now is points. We didn't play that well yesterday but got the three points.

By the same measure, it's no good if we outplay Sheffield Wednesday but lose.

Still a lot of work to do, not denying that.
