Oh how I miss his passion. Remember walking into the Beverley and told him I was a city fan and he bought me a pint. Incredible. If he was in the changing room he would leave nobody in doubt what they had to do. Much missed man.

Given that the names of Dave Jones and Neil Warnock have come up lately on here, it wouldn't surprise me if the next suggestion is to bring Eddie May back to save us.

In all seriousness, a great manager who did a great job for our club. I never met him but by all accounts, was a great man too.
