If the club are not making contact this evening I will be very disappointed. We need him in now to save us!

Not everyone wants Warnock back.
Who even said Warnock wants to come back?
Living in the past.
There are already multiple threads on Warnock why do we need another?

I’ll be honest I think warnock is done now. I think he’s become a bit of a parody of himself and I don’t think he has the drive and ability to do what he used to. Don’t get me wrong I’d prefer him to the rubbish we’ve got because all of the teams around us have changed an appointed proper managers with experience. We have a nice guy who is well out of his depth. One week we are playing out from the back, then we’re not, next week we are 3 at the back then 4 then 5. I have no idea what we’re doing and the players don’t either. We need a new manager now but I don’t really know who that should be. I love warnock but I think he’s probably done now. Maybe Ryan Lowe if he’s still available.

Well, I’ve never asked for it before but after tonight, I was about to post a similar thread!
Riza
STATED “
this is a must win game!’ and we got nothing! Nada! Zilch! Sweet FA!
Sadly, Riza’s not up to this particular job and the players look lost in their formation
Championship ‘
firefighter’ Neil Warnock may not be a bad option right now and if Vincent Tan was here to watch that, he must surely be weighing up his options right now!

You can not blame Riza for getting appointed by Tan, if he offered me the job I would of jumped at it the same as Riza did.
Tan has been doing everything on the cheap for years and now it had bitten him right on the arse.
If he gets rid of Riza tomorrow I can guarantee you Purse will be in charge saturday.
Tue Mar 11, 2025 10:36 pm
i dont believe purse is anywhere in tans mind otherwise why didnt he offer it to him in first place nobody knows whats in tans mind dont think he knows either look at his other club in belguim look familar?

I think people remember the Warnock of seven years ago and not the Warnock at Middlesbrough or Aberdeen.
He has failed in recent jobs.
There's also other issues with him.
He's probably happy earning his Sky money anyway.

NW as we know is not the medium to long term answer but I think you'll find that the majority of fans who are realists as to our current site predicament see him as the best proven option to achieve survival and give breathing space to the three stooges to once again make the usual poor decision as to our next permanent managerial appointment.
Giving NW till the end of the season which is literally weeks away is completely unsentimental and entirely logical given where we are for yet another season.
I also have zero confidence that the board will get the next appointment right even if we did survive under a shirt term NW emergency fix.

Totally agree, it has to be Warnock until the end of the season. He is a master in these situations, the players are there they just need guidance and a huge boot up the arse, he's the man for the job.

Whilst I agree there are not many troubleshooting fire fighting managers out there and Warnock has certainly got experience of pulling that off on a few ocassions. I like Neil, but I feel his time has gone, I never liked his brand of football, and also i was unhappy with a few things in his last stint with us that left a bad taste. If this does happen, and it will be a very Vincent Tan thing to do, I will get behind him nonetheless. And I think he would pull it off, but a NO from me.

Spot on and perfectly put. He's the master of these specific situations and is proven time and again, this is our best emergency specialist option. Needs to happen quickly to as if we do drop, and that is looking increasingly likely, we will be down there for years as the three stooges will be as clueless in trying to regain promotion as they are in currently trying to survive and thrive in the CShip.
The fans and club deserve so much better than these clowns whose time is more than up.
And you can guarantee the usual radio silence by the three amigos as they run around like headless chickens as the shit hits the fan yet again.

If you think he would "pull it off" then surely he's the one for the job?? Who else (with a given track record) would take the job for 9 games??

Dear god no, last thing we need is Warnock back

How do you know he would even take the job?
Everyone talking about it as if NW wouldn’t even have a choice in the matter.

It wouldnt surprise me in the slightest that he would pull of an escape, IF Tan sacks Riza, IF he offers it to NW, IF NW accepts!!
Even then no guarantees he would keep us up, just not my choice if Riza goes. Im hoping we can employ someone for more than 9 games! Riza is a rookie manager, we need someone with experience of the championship and they are out there, we have to stop turning to Warnock every time our managers start failing. This squad has good players who are not performing anywhere near the best of their abilities individually or as a team, i like to think a half decent manager would have had them away from the drop zone by now.

As much as i admire Warnock and would have him back in a heartbeat for the remaining 27 points, I don't see him in Tans' good books
Wed Mar 12, 2025 10:53 pm
Its a big if he comes back.

Without stating the obvious our number 1 objective is to stay up this season.
Is it Riza and his tactics?
Is it the players?
Is the whole bloody set up at CCFC ?
Tan, dalman, Nash ,purse, etc,etc ?
Something is not right we all agree.
For me with limited games left to save ourselves I think warnock (if he will come until season end) and give him a lasting legacy would be the only viable option.
Basically we are in dire need for his brutal tactics and influence in the dressing room.
If we can get through this we have to have a completely new start next season from top to bottom.
