TONIGHT HIGH FLYING BURNLEY PLAYED AT THE CCS AND CITY WERE ABLE TO BREAK THEIR RECORD BY SCORING AGAINST THE BEST DEFENCE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP/ BUT IT WAS NOT GIID ENOUGH DUE TO TGE FIRST 40MINS WHERE CARDIFF GAVE THEM WAY TO MUCH RESPECT:

Over All Cardiff did deserve a draw, but are now 4th from Bottom of the Championship:

We did play really well in the 2nd half:


Burnley were denied two big penalty. Shouts.


RIZA SET OUT TO DEFEND ONCE AGAIN EVEN AT HOME:

Riza also dropped our best two players Ramsey and Rubin, always tinkering with the team.

When Riza put subs in the 2nd half, Cardiff were totally different with Rubin, Ramsey , El Ghazi etc and many periods of the half looked the better side.


Burnley had not conceded a goal for 12 League Games , But draw so many away games, but fair play man if the match Salech scored for the Bluebirds and could have scored more.




The crowd was one of the lowest to actually at the CCS this season.

Fantsatic work from O'Dowda, who slides in to play in Bagan down the left. He floats a lovely ball to the back post to Salech, who attacks it and the ball seems to balloon off is shoulder and into the top corner!

SECOND-HALF: Cardiff after the Subs were put on, looked a totally different team and attacked.

Cardiff immediately brought on Colwill and Fish for Robertson and Rinomhota.

Ashford off for El Ghazi.



70mins:Robinson on for Bagan.


78mins: Bar! Robinson with a lovely, left-footed cross and Salech leaps and heads on goal - it loops and hits the bar!



In the 94th minute Fish missed and it was so close.

They simply killed the game 2nd half we had chances but they were in control all the same... we deserved a draw but not the luck required to get ball in net....riza should by now trust his team to do what is needed instead of being scared of opposition ..

Defensive is giving us bad starts chasing games i thought we deserved a point hit woodwork twice i had us down to win it.

We nearly got a draw Ned.

The first 40mins cost us.

That second half team have to start home games. Excluding El Ghazi, who was awful again.

Mannsverk & Robertson also not on it today.

We deserved a point. 2 more weak goals conceded.

Rambo looking sharp. Rubin and Robbo played well. Salech was quality.

Positives to take from an expected loss

We need to stop starting games so negative, we can't defend for shit but we actually look half decent when we go for it, riza needs to stop this negative shit at home and go for it, fair enough away from home but no excuses when Luton stoke Oxford come here we have to go for the wins

We should have won this but our defence giving up 2 early goals so we chase the game but hittung the woodwork twice and fish missed agonisingly at the end i had us down for a win,
much better 2nd half unlucky tonight.

The only reason they are where they are in the league is because teams have struggled to score against them.

I didn’t think they were that great, they took their chances when we defended poorly but overall I thought we had enough chances (hit the bar, hit the upright) to beat them.

Burnley are another average side in a division full of them. Should have got a point at the death as they were hanging on.

Defensively we were yet again so poor got to tackle and track runners etc .for me we were really bad .
It's panic stations again to try and get a result after we concede. As for the attack riza went all out but they are all to scared to get the ball in the box when they do its very poor quality. We let ourselves down in both boxes .
Also are decision making isnt good .
We don't show enough grit and we are slow .

We have some good players but he's not able to get the best out of them .
Yet again we are in serious trouble.
I'm sorry I'm not being negative is the truth .
If anyone thinks we are safe your crazy .
We are a poor team with some good players.
It's frustrating to watch it really .
There's no belief we only play when we concede a goal .
Burnley are a good team and we have a good team in there but the players are low on confidence and the manager hasn't done enough to empress me he's a nice guy maybe that's his problem .

Positives there for sure, but starting so negative at home, is so frustrating
Going for it initially against Leeds, who are in a different class than Burnley, was of course a massive mistake, but at home should be different
Riza still has no idea of his best 11 either, which is worrying
The effort is there but ultimately not good enough all over the pitch , nor is the manager in truth

Took ball watching to a new level in the first half. Second half was better attack wise.

Our corner taking is very poor and our crossing in open play is no better.

Spot on, how many goals have we scored from corners this season. Very few and previously it used to be our strength.

Our crosses never beat the first defender.
