Former Wales captain Kevin Ratcliffe says Aaron Ramsey is helping bring the best out of Rubin Colwill after being given the chance to combine in Cardiff City's midfield :

I agree. West Brom away last year was the same. Ramsey came on and Rubin went up a few notches.

I wouldn't have put them together recently though, but it did work. You'd assume we'd be weaker in defence, but held off a very good team for 60 odd minutes.

he needs and thrives playing with better players around him. imagine trying to play in some of the shit shows we've seen thelast 2-3 years

No but we did get good chance before they scored... and plymouth never looked like scoring but did first ... formation whatever it is will work if got players next season to utilise it best..... rambo in team helps rubin and others but people on here don't want rambo playing next season...

Been saying that for a few season. Rubin needs to move on as he is wasted with us.
