Preston 2-0 up at half time against Burnley.

Hope that one goes into extra time and a few Burnley players pick up nightly injuries

Is very much like city last night with exception they got a corner and took advantage of city's weakness at corners.... city 10 corners 70% + possession expect arly and mamusch to appear 2nd half... city really should be couple up but that's football....HT 1-1 they score on halftime

Think that header was one of Plymouth’s first touches in the box.

It’s a shame after such an incredible result against Liverpool they drew Man City away, similar to last night I think the last 20 mins or so we’ll see the gap in quality as City’s players and subs are up against tired legs.

4-1 FT is my prediction.

They ate stuck in their own half arly on surely only matter of time city get a break 3-1 predict... once get ahead they tend to ease up ...so be interesting to see if plymouth can survive the pressure.

Plymouth put up a good fight but Manchester City win 3-1.

That means Preston are the only team from outside the Premier League in the quarter finals.

Just saw that faul? What's more ridiculous is the referee had to go to monitor! Ffs is he blind or incompetent........ a simple foot that high is a red card for endangering an opponent what he did was a Schumacher/baptiste moment without using his body just his foot... Cantona would have been impressed with that kung-fu kick ... :o

Ridiculous challenge. He's not their first choice goalkeeper but could get a long ban for that.

Cunha for Wolves also facing a long ban. Completely lost his head at the end of their cup tie at Bournemouth and was even refusing to go down the tunnel when he was sent off.

Cunha could have been sent off for about 3 different things ...he'll certainly get an extended ban for not leaving playing area in orderly manner..

Newcastle v Brighton finishes 1-1 after 90 minutes, so going into extra time.

Both teams down to ten men - Gordon sent off for a push in the face and Lamptey got a second yellow not long after.

Newcastle had a goal disallowed just before full time in normal time.

No penalty shootout as Danny Welbeck wins it for Brighton with a brilliant goal.

Mike Dean today making excuses for Oliver not giving red without going to monitor? Player in way was one.... but there is 3 other officials all could given red card? var could said red no need for monitor it wasn't as if it was debatable... but this shows how poor officials are in English football....
Ipswich 1 up on forest 60mins

That's the problem with having a referee as a pundit so close since he retired, Dean will still have mates within the PGMOL so not going to be too critical.
