2ND HALF NEVER GAVE IT A GO

After a good 45 mins i was more optomistic to give it a go bring on asford o' dowda down the wings,
but we just sat and let them come onto us,
warnock would have gone for it fresh legs 45 mins,
i hated us just sitting there waiting for the inevitable, fans around me said its like a practise match for them,
after going a goal down we sat back even more brought on 2 subs and only brought on 2 forwards in ashford and davies with nearly 10 mins left
Just a shame we never really gave it a go imo,
regardless who was infront of us we where down a goal no more need to hold it tight.
I' ll be there Tuesday for burnley and if this was the game riza had in his head i hope to see us go for it from the start and attack attack attack.

It's easy to say we should have give it a go, but we have to get the ball first. And when the game opened up a bit when we had our chance they went straight down and broke the deadlock. Thereafter yes we could have 'give it a go' as you say but we couldn't get the ball.
Overall I thought we played outstanding, considering the quality of their starting line up. Morgan Rogers apart that's their strongest line up I'd say.

Also got to consider squad morale. If we ended up losing 4-0 because we went for it, could bring the mood in the squad down.

But a 2-0 defeat and a good performance, players will rightly be proud and go into Burnley in high spirits.

Burnley was always way more important than tonight.
