I don't understand it either but no surprise to me he's not involved, Riza doesn't sound keen on him at all.

Will be weird that he's left out if Salech or Robinson don't start though.

Simic..

Anyone else think the club will release him in the summer?

I can't see him getting anywhere near the 1st team with Riza in charge.

I think so.

Riza clearly doesn't rate him so I assume he'll be with the U21s until the end of the season.

The situation is very reminiscent of Velikonja at the moment.

But to be fair, Reindorf was scoring loads for the U21s but can't get a game at Bristol Rovers.

He has three years left on his contract so won't be getting released.

Maybe another loan, but it is a weird situation.

But simic has played champions league and 1st team football elsewhere. Which makes it a stranger situation to the reindorf one.

True, fair point.

It's a little strange but maybe he will get his chance just like Reindorf did. The whole transfer was a strange one & those saying he wasn't good enough for us are now wanting him in the first team because he scored a goal or two in the U21s.

FT 1-1

We are assuming riza will be here next season and what he said about him is accurate? Otherwise think it's safer to wait until we know who is in charge next season and how they see him in pre-season

Bulut didn’t rate him and now Riza doesn’t seem keen

Which is a bit strange because he has actually played Champions League football

Only time will tell if he turns out to be a decent signing…it not promising at the moment though

Some TNS players have played CL football, are their players all better than what we have already? No

TNS have never played in the actual champions league. They have played in the qualifiers. Simic actually played 6 and scored in one of the group stage games last season.

Doesn't change anything, CL qualifiers are still CL. There are any number of teams I could pick to prove the point that just playing in the CL doesn't automatically make you a wonderful player.

If you think he's the answer to our prayers then fair enough, just say so, but saying he's the answer JUST because he played in the CL is just plain wrong.

Riza doesn't think he's there yet so at the moment that's good enough for me. Maybe once he's played more in the U21s that will change.

Don’t make sense Simic not given a chance when we could of done with him , feel a bit angry tbh
