Why at home

Wed Feb 26, 2025 11:25 am

Do we sit back and let the away side have all the possession?

Yes it was a good smash and grab win last night but if Hull had a decent striker they would have scored 3 in the last 15 minutes.

We are constantly sitting back and inviting the pressure.

Never thought I'd be saying this but we are missing Tanner as he's our out ball to relieve some of the pressure with his pace.

We didn't sit back, Hull just pushed forward after we scored. Before that they were settling for the point.

We got the win, that's all that matters.

Ifs and buts.

‘If they had a Striker…’ - well IF we had better players we would be higher up the league.

IF we had a better owner, we wouldn’t be in this position season after season.

But we don’t. And they didn’t.

They play a possession type of game, they pushed up when they had to and we defended well.

I don’t care if they have 90% possession, as long as we win, and we did.

People say we need wins, which of course we do.

But then we win and people find multiple things to complain about.

Can’t even make this stuff up.

What's the saying you can only play what's in front of you? Well city did and they won! Shame some are disappointed at that. :o
