El Ghazi

No way should he start before Ashford in that side. Couldn't have been lesss interested first half.

Spot on.

No idea why he started ahead of Ashford, he was poor again.

Consistently poor. Ruined 5 or 6 set peices where a simple ball in the box was required. Inefective in attack or defence.

Needs to be dropped.

Wasn’t just him, apart from 4 or 5 players they were all lazy today

He should have been subbed after first 30 minutes.. that. would have shown a statement that lack of interest not tolerated.
No way should he be near starting 11 next match .

Knowing Cardiff he'll probably be offered a three year deal on improved wages.

:banghead:

Just slightly behind Kanga for me as most underwhelming signing of the season.

Came with a big reputation.

Has done absolutely f**k all.

Yes he needs to be dropped , better players than him on the bench

Yet people were saying last week that Ashford needs to be dropped as he doesn't track back.

He is just as frustrating as Josh Murphy was, they only turn up on very few occasions, bench warmer at best.should never be in this side whilst we have a fit O Dowda, Alves, Ashford, Tanner and Willock.

You can tell his heart isn’t in it.

He pulls out of any 50/50 challenge, no effort chasing balls down.

We need to start our young hungry players!

I have been disapointed by him but some of the criticism on here goes overboard. He was the only player to have a shot in the first half -a stinger but straight a keeper- and came closest earlier in the second half with a header which he should have done better with got at least he got in there where it hurts.

Dead right - Al Ghazi is TOTALLY in the side and drawing his pay based on past reputation!! He is gutless in a 50/50 situation - to coin an old quote - if he tackled a chicken then the chicken would come away with the ball!!, He is lazy, has no idea when tracking back as to where his man is and that has cost us a lot of goals and points so far this season and why oh why is he allowed anywhere near free kicks or corners because his delivery is consistently piss poor!!

Al Ghazi's selection in the starting eleven is another of Riza's senseless decisions!!

I am not his greatest fan, he is never finding the form that made him a Villa first teamer five seasons ago but he wasn't that bad yesterday, he was his usual self, a few good moments, but far more nothingness. His head is writing cheques his body can't deliver.
He has had a few plaudits from the bench, 20 min cameo's is all we can hope for him for the remainder of the season.

We ain't beating Villa so give him his last hoorah there but he is a sub at best
