Callum Robinson

Ever since he's had a new contract he has been absolute pants.
He was rubbish today, taking pot shots and shooting straight at defenders. He needs to be dropped.

His toys were on the edge of his pram from midweek, he’s a petulant child running off down the tunnel when subbed off….

There were times today where he looked absolutely lazy

Not how I see him. Most important player this season so far, with a great team ethic. Lucky to have him we would be dead and buried without him.

Not denying what he’s done so far but there are times where he is so frustratingly shite like today!!! He was lazy plain and simple….

Always worried the contract would let him slip into his old ways.

Should be dropped for Salech.

Two very different players but Salech has more physically.

I don't think the contract has changed his contribution. He has always shirked challenges, run pointless runs to get his km stats up, and lives off-side, mainly due to the pointless runs. He just had a purple patch with chances at vital times this season. He had chances today, but normal service resumed.

He has never been prolific and offers so little else. He is finishing his career at a club that will be in League 1 or flirting with relegation for the remainder of his contract. He wouldn't be a starter at any other championship club.

Agreed … I have been saying the same for ages :banghead:
I am pleased that others agree.
I said we had a good transfer window EXCEPT giving Robinson a 2 year extension! (Others including Annis was saying we must get him signed up).
I also agree that I don’t think he has deliberately played worse. He just had a purple patch in terms of goals. Most imporantly is what he doesn’t do. Out of possession he doesnt close down effectively, never tackles and only puts in a wek or no challenge. So even if he scores, its like having 10 players dwfending.
Ive also been saying for years DO NOT PLAY HIM AND COLWILL IN THE SAME TEAM- for Gods sake learn that lesson. Build on the positives the new lads and Ramsey fit again.

RB has never been prolific at any club.
He has done really well so far this season, but that doesn't mean he deserved a new contract.
This guy has had two good seasons in his whole career. Tell me I'm wrong ?

He's no workrate at all, but he's our top goalscorer and in our situation we have to play him.
