The Stand IBT...Update 1

Right, I'll keep doing these when I can folks as I'm being snowed under with messages of support from City fans..which is fantastic but I also want to say that it's because of YOU that we are where we are.

I've got to go across to the Record Company offices for an emergency meeting about it all in the next hour as we are STILL number 1 (have been all weekend!!) on Amazon.

Again, all we can do is keep spreading the word and asking people to keep ordering.

It seems we are picking up a lot of music fans who see us as a rival to Cheryl Cole's release on the same week...for this reason I'm telling people to head to The Stand's IBT facebook page..I can pass on information from there. So if you can just spread this link everywhere and get everyone to join. Co-ordinating it all from the net is the key now and the AAMB has a massive part to play in this as you've been with the Amazon chart...so here's the link..

What I just wanted to say is that when I do the press this week I'll be talking about what City fans REALLY are...how passionate, loyal and brilliant they've been in supporting the single.
In tough economic times City fans have been digging deep into their pocket.

The lads who began the Fred Keenor trust also deserve a massive amount of respect in trying to get someone commemorated who makes us the club we are and tells people our history. I want to remind people it was them who came up with this fantastic idea. They asked me to get on board to bring publicity...so I thought about recording 'I'll be there'...that was many months ago now and look where we've got.

I don't want to go on about it all the time but if there's anything any of you think I should say or can help with etc then please just let me know...end of the day I'm just a fan of Cardiff City FC like the rest of you.

I'll let you know daily who I'm speaking too and where it will be etc...let's ride the wave and see how far we get and keep that song as high up the charts and filling those Facebook groups so that WE have the power rather than the media which as we all know often makes the agenda...it's time people seen us for how we really are....thanks again.

It's great that it's doing so well, I've just sent a link to everyone in my email to try and get them to buy a copy. Kids love it too, well they better had they've all got a copy as a stocking filler for Christmas!!!!
