I remember when we loaned Simic to Kortrijk that some were saying it was because we didn't have the space in our squad for him to be registered.

Well, what Riza has said today has proven that was a load of rubbish:



“He’s young enough to play in the 21’s. He’s able to be selected for us without being in the 25 man squad. We’ll see how he continues to train, continues to deal with playing at this level, against the players we’ve got first, before he gets any opportunities.”

The madness of this club !!!!

I think Bulut wanted to be an old-school manager of the club, whilst Tan wants a head coach who works with what he has or given. Simic was a club buy and Bulut probably wanted a 30 year old Greek or Turkish player.

Why Tan extended his contract is beyond sanity.

Anyway, I'd be shocked and surprised if a 21 year old target man is mature enough for the championship, so am not holding out any hope.

He should have stayed here from the word Go - Could have played for the U21's to start off with and see what happens next.
