Happy New Year, Wayne.
Vidoes of him letting out a red bed from his pad have surfaced, also.
The story (Sky Sports):
Wayne Rooney leaves Plymouth Argyle managerial role after mutual exit
Wayne Rooney has left his role as Plymouth manager after a mutual parting of ways. The ex-Manchester United forward departs after just seven months in charge of the Championship club.
The former England captain leaves Home Park with the club bottom of the league with four defeats and a draw in their last five games.
Rooney, who had signed a three-year contract upon his appointment in May, managed just four wins in his 23 games in charge.
The 39-year-old said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Plymouth Argyle Football Club, in particular Simon Hallett and Neil Dewsnip who I shared great relationships with.”

This is no surprise , he’s a shit manager. I gave him 3 months but I cannot believe they gave him a 3 year contract that’s f*cking insane

Bad news for us as Rooney is a terrible manager and whoever they get now will almost certainly be an improvement

Its a different job from being a player with god-given attributes that you have developed.
Its a tough job and they need to start much lower and learn their craft, win something, and develop. In the old days, you were a player/manager and the club got a superior player but on the downgrade. Now it's straight to management which you have barely witnessed, just been on the end of a few Fergie fireballs.
It used to amaze me that Fergie has produced so few managers with Steve Bruce probably the most effective. But footballers rock up to training for 90 mins, watch a few team and personalised videos then drive home. Did any players ever see the backroom work to give them their armchair ride?
Its all about recruitment anyway, his squad are poor and he has barely played underdog football in his career. Why should have he succeeded?

The girl at his flat is a year old and his son was also there apparently. Clips edited by the scum newspapers trying to affect someone’s life.
He does not seem to have the gift for management.

We all said that it was a mistake when they appointed him, think it was only the Plymouth board who thought it was a good idea.
Talk of Schumacher going back there - still think he would have been a good appointment for us.
But I think whoever takes the job, it will be difficult for them to stay up. Just don't have a good enough team.
Don't believe all this nonsense about him cheating again, there's very little evidence of it and just the papers creating the story.
But it does appear he enjoys going out for a drink in Plymouth.
Doesn't help himself that when his team are struggling he was tweeting about his wife being on an ITV reality show and still doing a bit of punditry work.

Maybe bad news for us as don’t be surprised if Neil Warnock steps in as he lives 20 mins away. We know what he can do!

Great news for us if Warnock goes there. Failed in his last two jobs.
But it does sound likely Schumacher is going back, which isn't good news for us. Decent manager.

That makes 9 championship clubs with at least 2 or more managers this season ..

Left without a pay off.
Good on him.

Genuinely don't think he's bothered about making a lot more money. He earned more than enough as a player including sponsorships and his wife has a decent income too.
He just wants to be a successful manager but unfortunately he's not very good at it.

Warnock won't be going, he is currently working at Torquay with former Argyle defender Paul Wotton.

Agree. Still could have fleeced them though. 3 year contract and that.
I hope he does make it. Keep seeing good man manager which reading twitter is basically he goes on the piss with his players a bit.

He should try non league see if can get established instead of taking jobs that are difficult to manage.. other players have started below league level and gone upwards.

Often hurts these managers when they take the big jobs too soon.
You mentioned Savage and you're right, his Macclesfield team are as good as promoted already. Think they got promoted last season as well.

My friend in Plymouth reckons he’s forgone most of his due fees…?
As much as I am not a fan of Rooney the man, I have some sympathy for him being at that club with that squad; no task to be envied moulding that lot a League higher than they are good for…!
