VOTE YOUR MAN of the MATCH v WATFORD (Away)

Sun Dec 29, 2024 5:05 pm

Vote your Man of the Match versus Watford at Vicarage Road…

A super start with a fantastic 1st minute goal from the Bluebirds’ Callum Robinson (assisted by Callum O’Dowda) and another to follow on 42 mins; shortly after the Watford equaliser…

A very good performance and a deserved win with everyone playing their part…

It will be a tough one with so many genuine options but for me, three players really stood out; Callum Robinson, And my Rinomhota and Manolis Siopis…

It was Callum Robinson for an outstanding performance for me today but what do you think…? :ayatollah:

Ashfords pace made a difference today and Robinson definitely benefited from it but with 2 goals I’ve voted Robbo.

Rino for me but could have been Chambers who was much better in CDM, Ashford who was fantastic in defence, Sio who was his hustling best, Daland and Goutas solid, Robbo. So nice to have a tough decision to make for once.

Some excellent performances today with Robbo and Ashford standing out. Two good goals from Robbo but Ashford's tracking back to defend and his energy was brilliant so gave motm to him.

That was a great team performance and we needed that.

We stopped tossing around like a piss poor Citeh tribute band and played championship football. 451 with lots of physicality, love it.

Went for Ashford and he personified the approach but any of them

Thank you boys :occasion5:

Ashford. Make no mistake, that cut back would have been blasted over the top by Willock/Rubin/El Ghazi and Tanner. His awareness to square it has got us 3 very valuable points. Keep him in!

Can i change my vote, the only championship-level striker at the club scored 2 and that's what the game is about

Still need 2 strikers and a speedster over the window

He's still an average striker, today doesn't change that.

Must admit I find it strange to see our top goal scorer repeatedly criticised. To me whether we’re a good team or a bad team, he’s still our top scorer and looks to have every chance of hitting 14-15 goals over the full season, which would be a decent amount. I don’t care if they’re tap ins, screamers, or bundled over the line. Either way, they are a result of skill, effort or being in the right place at the right time.
But I suppose everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Agree - well said. Without CR47, we wouldn't have the points today. That's what counts.

Just looked at his stats for this season, 8 goals in 19 games. Plus he’s had a few injuries.
That’s good enough for me.
And I’ll say it again and again. This lad previously stayed on the pitch for us with a badly torn hamstring for 15+ mins one game as we had used all of our subs. That shows more commitment than any club deserves.
