Saw somethin i have never witnesses at Cardiff today

Wait......what did i see..............well.................It was a union jack flag with cardiff on it a small flag stitched to around 6 other in the corner of the canton stand and ninian stand !!!! Granted the union jack was painted Blue and white rather than the union colours but certainly sparked some conversation with the lads near me !!!!

H , a good mate of mine used to take one away with Cardiff years ago. We are part of the British isles afterall.

i saw it and it doesnt bother me but there again i also like rangers..
but if anyone has a problem with the union flag at games they need to grow up to be honest...
pity the lads near you didnt spark into life and get behind the team instead of worrying about some flag

i dont see nothing wrong with it myself.. i see tri- irish flags and a german one at city games and they dont bother me either..its all about supporting city wherever your from or whatever flag thats on show..
it woudnt bother me if i saw a st george flag with say worcester bluebirds on it...

no i meant the german flag thats been going for years with cardiff city on it not the one waved about today..
it was the nazi flag we fought against not the german one to be honest..

yes I know what you mean with that one , but its almost as bad as the Argentina chants .... perhaps I am biased because of a military connection in my family.

lets hope its not pot calling the kettle black when we play swansea and they have their union jack flags adorned to the fences on a personal note I m in favour of more flags of any kind around the ground, superb one today at the back of the junior bluebird stand, and as Jinks says as long as its got your town on with ccfc or bluebirds written on it i dont care if mallo writes sheffield bluebirds on a english flag , the squad is made of all nationalities

good point CFB. I probably would have accepted a GDR flag if we had signed Thomas Hitzelsperger from Chesterfield all those years ago.

good to see the union flag back among the city fans
its been a long time i remember there used to be one about in the 80's

I couldnt care what flags are about if a german city supporter wants to wear his flag or english irish scottish or what ever no bother
