Well Done City

To come back from 2-0 down against your rivals is a very good achievement from DJ and the boys. Jay was great today, And having Chops back is already showing what we have missed. His movement offers a different dimension and defenders hate him. Oli was awesome again today. Worthy of the MOM award. He often plays himself into trouble but wins the ball back 90% of the time. His tracking back is excellent. Heaton made a great save some time in the second half. Hudson and Gypses defended well in all honesty especially Hudson. The tackle in the first halfwhere he ran about 20M and won the ball was great. Sloppy defending at free kicks but that will be improved. Naylor and Kev were excellent, Just wish Naylor would shoot when he has the one two off Whitts. McPhail was okay. Didnt have to do much but that flick to Heaton could easy have been a goal if Stead was more alert (Nothing impressed me today with him) . Burke was at his normal tricky ginger self with some great dribbling and him and Kev have got that side down to a tee. Whitts was outstanding, Awesome at switching the ball from flank to flank and his free kicks are outstanding albeit having a bit of luck on the first. And Koumas looked sharper when he came on than previous games. All in all a great game and well done City. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: ...

Nathan I am surprised at you saying Naylor was excellent and Gypese was far from what I would call good defending today, but this was certainly a good comeback. :ayatollah:

His link up play with Whitts was great and cannot recall him making any errors where we were in any danger of being punished. Now I have calmed down a bit I think Gypses did not have a good game as said in my OP but he wasnt useless as some are saying on various sites. Made a few good challenges and won a few headers but overall happy with CCFC :ayatollah:

I'd have Whitts as my man of the match but there were a few candidates and, apart from the first 10 mins, we played some lovely stuff and I think there's more to come :ayatollah:

Nice to see Koumas playing more positively when he came on, shame his shot was blocked because a goal would do him the world of good. Certainly more positives than negatives today :ayatollah: Bit worried about Gypes though, looked like he'd forgotten how to jump, pass or tackle
