3rd round draw day used to be one of the most exiting days of the season. Listening on Monday lunchtime, hoping to either get one of the big boys away for a trip to a top ground, or one of the minnows with a chance of progressing. Then you couldn't wait for 3rd round day itself.
But now???? Pah, don't give a shit, don't care who we draw, it'll be the reserves playing some other teams reserves. Haven't been to a cup game for years, managers are just not interested in it so I'm not. What a pity.

I get where you're coming from but it does still matter to clubs and fans.

Coventry v Man Utd in the semi finals was one of the best cup ties in years last season, with Coventry less than a millimeter away from winning against a first choice Man Utd team.

The players, fans and the hierarchy would benefit from a long fa cup run deep into the competition can only be healthy for all. Let’s really go for it and enjoy the entire journey, just got a feeling we are going to have a great ‘run’ this year.

Whoever we get we will struggle
But always good to see who we eventually get
Knowing our luck it will be someone like Wigan instead of anyone in the premier league.

Awful draw

About as boring as it could get really.

Positives are that it won't be on TV so at least it'll probably be a normal kick off time.

Possibly cheap tickets as well because I doubt Sheffield United fans will be excited about it either.

Weekend in Sheffield, can visit family, and hopefully get a win!
