The Scum - Takeover Complete

Sun Nov 24, 2024 12:26 pm

The jacks takeover has been completed.

It’s mad to think that the scum are a more attractive proposition to people wanting to purchase a club.

Or is it that Tan is too deluded with his asking price?

Was told by a Swansea fan a few months back that they were in trouble and without new cash should go through , basically the yanks weren't going to put more money in, there losing the same amount as us a year recently.

This is an interesting statement basically 20 million to cover costs -

As part of the move, the new ownership group are set to plough around £20m into the club, although it understood that it's unlikely much of that cash, if any, will be used to bolster Swansea's transfer kitty in the upcoming January window.

In a statement, the club said: "This new funding provides the club an important foundation of stability, will cover the operating costs of the club for the foreseeable future,

Reading the article. There’s no mention of the sale price to the new investors, only the reference to putting in £20m to stabilise cash flow. Does anyone know what they might have paid? Or do we think it’s just the £20m?
As said above, no ground or training ground as assets, only the playing squad.

he's just bought out other investors so he's now the main shareholder.. and he's put in the money to keep them running on a daily basis... as I said previously they've used the money from sales to keep them in profit but not sure they've got big assets to sell for 15m + like
previously ...not sure why this as come up as happened ages ago and was freely available online..
