Meite is ours until May, we have to accept that. But Kanga needs to go in the window. I doubt Hertha wants him back, but we need to tell them if they can't find another club for him we'll entirely drop him, no squad number and they'll struggle to move him on next season as he bombed so royally.

2 absolute shocking player's i have slated,
but have been slated for saying so instead of slating me for pointing out the obvious,
slate the tool who scouted them.

If there is no under 21 player that is better than Kanga or Meite we may as well scrap the development squad save the money to buy decent players .
Today s game we were playing with 10 men as both were useless.

Agree both of these add zero and if we can get rid in Jan we should 100% prefer our youngsters to come off bench with more energy

Dreadful

I don't understand how the manager/staff don't see what the fans see. Both players should be nowhere near the first team, they are terrible. Reindorf should replace one of them immediately and there must be better under 21 players available. This entire scenario of useless players is a nightmare. Years of no investment is crippling the club.

One person disagreeing with you is not being slated. Calm down before you have a heart attack, they're not fun.

Cardiff City Football Club are delighted to announce the loan signing of centre-forward Wilfried Kanga.
The Ivory Coast international joins from Hertha BSC and will spend the 2024/25 season in the Welsh capital.
Kanga was also out on loan last season in the Jupiler Pro League with Standard Liège, where he scored 12 times and assisted on three occasions.
Discussing his move, Wilfried added: "I feel very happy to be here. I know all about Cardiff City already. We want to get this Club back up the league.
"I've enjoyed being in the stadium already. You can feel something special around it.
"I can't wait now to play in front of our fans. Let's do it!"
We have him here for the whole of this season ...

Not even Sunday league players in my opinion.
I want to know who scouted kanga they need sacking he's awful, couldn't trap a bag of cement and jogs about like a show pony. I've seen better pissed up on a Sunday morning I really have.

He seems quite mobile on his highlights reels from before he got to us...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTxATTuxQcghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WP_9pqoUWS8Are we concentrating on the wrong issue here? I mean, he wouldn't be the first striker to come here and their goals dry up.
He clearly likes a decent through ball (can't think of anyone who tries that), and a quality ball into the box (we haven't had that for years).
Are we asking a goldfish to climb a tree by putting Kanga in this formation and style of play? Either stop playing him, or change the formation to play to his strengths.

Comments have been made about playing to his strengths, ( whatever they may be), having seen every game at home, he’s never once anticipated where the ball is going to be played, he’s never once doesn’t jump, can’t beat a man, jogs around the place and makes no effort to track back or go looking for the ball, I think he’s the only player that when I see him coming on, I feel like getting up and going home, his contributions are absolutely zero, I’m not normally negative but this guy makes me despair about our scouting network.

I agree with all of that, but someone put a list of strikers on here recently. Most of them demonstrated a level of goalscoring before us. Most of them bar an absolute handful (Kieffer had Harry Wilsons service also) all left as low confidence with little return and significantly lower value. Strange that, isn't it?

That was me and I’ve been thinking the same.
Bobby Glatzel is a prime example.
Javi Guerra came to us as a striker who had only been outscored in La Liga the previous season by Messi and CR7, yet played about 2 games for us and left again.
We have been a cemetery for strikers who have been scoring both before and after their stint at City.
Tue Nov 26, 2024 6:12 pm
Been saying this for a while now, we do something to strikers that makes them useless once they join us.

Kanga is woeful. Meite works hard, but will never score enough goals.
We have no plan b when Robinson gets tired or isn’t fit. Poor and lazy transfer business
