Omer Riza spoke to the press following the Bluebirds' 2-0 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday evening.
As City make it two victories from two games, Omer began with his thoughts on the game at CCS.

“We started really well.” Omer began. “Lots of confidence, especially coming off the back of Saturday. The first half was excellent, and I thought we could have had a couple more goals as well.

“The first 25/30 minutes, I thought the boys were excellent. I want them to take risks, that’s part of our game, in respect of breaking lines, playing forward passes and linking up.

"Rubin [Colwill] again today, he made some great dummies that allowed balls to go past the opposition defence.

“Second half, we probably lost a little bit of control in the game. I think we needed that third goal really, so something to work on there to not allow the opposition to cause us the problems they did.

“I said hopefully we can get three points today and we managed to do that again, so I’m really happy for the boys. They have been excellent again; they’ve put in such a good shift, so I'm just really happy for them and the fans and the Club."

With Callum Robinson getting his fourth goal of the season, Omer shared his thoughts about the attacker's quality.

“He’s the best finisher at the club.” he explained. “I’ve said it before, if you put him in and around the box, he’s going to finish. Left foot, right foot, he does it in training, does it in games, scores a varied goal, he can score from outside the box, he can score half space goals, he can get in on the back post and get his toe on the end of things.

“He’s a number 9 who can drop in and receive the ball, he can turn in tight spaces and he can provide passes - he’s been excellent.”

Riza concluded by looking ahead to Saturday afternoon's away clash against West Bromwich Albion.

“I think we will be forced to tighten things up, playing against a very good side. They’re very disciplined in possession and probably won’t allow us too much space, but we’ll keep trying to play the way we are in possession.

"But out of possession we will have to be on our game to make sure we don’t lose the ball, and if we do lose the ball we don’t get hurt with it.”

Tbf I think if it was still 1 then he wouldn't of changed them. But at 2 and comfortable and probably half an eye on Saturday. He was thinking keeping 3 points and resting players
