VOTE YOUR MAN of the MATCH v POMPEY (Home)

Vote your Man of the Match versus Pompey this evening (home)

Another good display from the Bluebirds, who deserved their second clean sheet win of the week…

They started well and took the game to a shocked and unprotected Pompey team, who conceded their first goal via former Bluebird Reagan Poole and their second to Callum Robinson…

Another positive performance from the whole team but for me, Rubin Colwill was the master act with a large choice of supporting actors in attack, midfield and defence, inc. Jak Alnwick in the second half…

FINAL SCORE: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 0 PORTSMOUTH (90+5 mins)
Bluebird scorers: Reagan Poole(og), 6 mins; Callum Robinson, 13 mins

Turnbull for me.

Thought our level dropped when he went off which is a big sign.

Rubin, Robertson, Robinson, El Ghazi and Tanner all good again too.

Goutas for me tonight, there were a number of players who stood out again. But everytime the ball came near him today Goutas was solid.

Rubin again for me, great game again.

Tanner for me, for everything good going forward he was always there when they had a break. Considering Murphy can put the afterburners on, he never once got a chance to think about it as Tanner made sure he was there to support Ng

I thought ODowda had a great game. Constantly getting forward.

A toss up between O'Dowda, Goutas and Turnbull but went for O'Dowda as i think he'll get El Garzi playing properly soon

Goutas for me, was everywhere & solid every time. Can't really fault Colwill but his decision making still lets him down at times.

Easy choice again.....Ruben.

His touches, dummies, turns, vision, determination, movement off the ball and overall play was outstanding. I still can't believe some on here continually criticised him.

After Saturday's performance another good team effort from the starting 11 and praise to the manager for sticking with them.

Colwill played the 90 for me - But a Good Team effort ... they All played their part :bluebird:

Criticised him for his inconsistency. That's not the case right now, long may it continue.

Those who said he needed a run in the team appear to be right at the moment.

Will be interested to see how he does against WBA who have higher quality players.

Yes, but imagine how he would do playing WITH higher quality players. Unplayable I would imagine.

The Plymouth fans in particular were blown away by his performance against their side. Also very favourable comments on the Pompey forum too.

I don't know what you're getting at, I agree with what you've said. I said myself he's been very good lately.

If he's consistent, no worries.

But he wasn't until recently, which was my issue. That's just a fact.

As I've said, the argument that this was due to not having a proper run in the team seems fair at the moment.

Not my MOTM tonight because I thought we missed Turnbull a lot when he went off which tells a story, but RC was very very good.

Interested to see how he does against the better players that West Brom have.

Probably not many better players in the division on current form, which is great for the team and the fans. But I would be surprised if his recent performances have gone unnoticed by Premier League scouts. If he does ultimately get sold I just hope it's not for 5 bob and a packet of pork scratchings.

Alot of positives and Turnballs best performance for us. But can't see outside of Rubin he was incredible again as another level to any player

I agree, he has been inconsistent, but he's had issues with growing pains plus Bulut's negative tactics. Riza has removed the shackles and we are now seeing the real Ruben Colwill.

We have WBA, Norwich, Luton, and Blackburn coming up, a tuff run of games. Let us know how you feel about him after those 4 games.

I like the way Rizla comes across - he seems to be about giving the players freedom to express themselves - the polar opposite of Bulut.

I can see the difference in confidence and performance level of the players.

I went for Goutas but there were a few contenders.

CR47 is a different player now, clearly happy and enjoying his football - same with many of them.

NG was excellent last night too, got his mojo back.
