Interesting story from today.... rambo was on level 4 today and apparently riza asked him to go upstairs to work with one of the analysts and cast eye over plymouth and see where team can best hurt them and report back to him what he saw? So question is are we under estimating rizas knowledge and understanding of the game? After all he did not make the same mistake as against Bristol in fact was most impressed that team kept pressing throughout game and never sat back on their laurels...
Shared lift with rambo after game

Or is he asking senior players to back him up because he wants the job?
Hmmmmm

That's cynical ned!
The article goes on to say riza wanted to use rambos knowledge and experience to enhance the players understanding of the game...players were involved in today's idea aswell! Dont you think after the last 3 games he actually needs to get the players on board? Surely the performances show they are already on board with riza philosophy..

Makes me laugh all this criticism of Riza and the Bristol game. Nobody knows what would have happened if subs hadn’t been made or different ones at different times were made. As the home team they were always going to put us under pressure and it came down to one decent cross. Overall it was a decent point we would have all taken before ko but suddenly we all have time machines and are experts in hindsight management.

Sounds good to me hopefully there's an opening for Ramseyto get on board. As we all know that world cup target he's aiming for his going to be difficult with his legs

100% this.
Had he not changed things up and they equalised some would have been having a pop about that asking why didn’t he shut up shop.

To me it dhows riza knows what he's doing and is trying to get more out of the situation he's in than is required.... maybe what he did is in response to bristol game having someone overseeing the game in stands something most premier league clubs do as can see game far better .... I certainly see game situations better where rambo was than if at pitch level.

The only one I remember was Warnock use to have Ronnie Jepson in the stands. Very poor to have all your team at ground level.

I admit to having, in the past, been totally in the Bulut camp but I now accept that some of our players just simply didn't want to play for him. I'm not sure what the issue was. But it appears simply the case.
What I, and we, saw yesterday was a group of players who totally bought into the formation, the style of play, the tempo and, where appropriate, reliant on the speed of our youngsters.
The players totally bought into Riaz and, even though he might not be the most experienced manager, if yesterday is repeated throughout the season he may just be the right manager for us - with Rambo as a possible assistant.

I would 100% offer rambo a player/coach role with Cardiff.

I agree sick to death of listening to deluded fans naming all the so called managers we should employ .Riza has improved our play and style no end ,he was obviously stifled by Bulut .Still think a combination of him and Mowbray would be an ideal combination and hope we continue this style of play .Riza would benefit massively working under him and then eventually take over as manager if all worked well so at least there was a plan of continuity in place

You don't like him, do you, at least he is seeking help from a source who knows the club and I
should think that Aaron was only too pleased to help out.

There was another person with rambo so not just him.... no one can argue that rambo wouldn't know what he is talking about when comes to analysing play? He's so good he's on Mnf analysising...
