MY VIEW: CARDIFF TODAY OUT PLAYED PLYMOUTH FOR 90MINS AND LOOKED CLASS WITH RUBIN, ROBINSON , TANNER , ROBERTSON ALL OUTSTANDING

Man of the match Rubin Colwill

CARDIFF FANS SANG “ 4 NIL ON YOUR BIG DAY OUT” TO PLYMOUTH FANS.

Cardiff were by far the better team in the 1st half and Rubin Colwill ran the show. Created the first goal for Robertson and
And Scored the 2nd goal, as well as dominating the play.

40th min Plymouth were reduced to 10 men after a blatant sending off.

Before Today Plymouth Away had Played 4 : Won 0 Drawn 1 Lost 3

2nd Half:
50th min: GOAL! Cardiff City 3-0 Plymouth Argyle (El Ghazi)
It's Colwill again who makes it. He shrugs off Gyabi in the area and slots a pass through the legs of the onrushing Grimshaw. El Ghazi is one yard out and he rifles it into the roof of the net.

66miins: Colwill off, Willock on.
Turnbull off, Rinomhota on.

70th min:
Tanner off, Meite on.

75th min Callum Robinson scored

77th min: Kanga and Bagan on for El Ghazi and Bagan.

80th min:GOAL! Cardiff City 5-0 Plymouth Argyle (Willock 80)

Goal! Willock scores his first for the club

Best performance for a year. Outstanding. The transformation under Riza is impressive yet everyone will probably slag him off again tonight saying he is inexperienced, not good enough etc. Robertson , Colwill, Tanner and Robinson look a big threat now. Must beat Portsmouth now.

Cannot get some of the fans on this site. Over 50% thought Bulut should have a new contract and except the game against the jacks last season we were boring - the change with the interim manager and play good football and they say we need more experience. Give him a chance . Till the end of the season. If it goes wrong before the end we can sack him with small compensation.

Spot on with your view Annis.

Colwill and Robertson were unplayable.

Now let's get another win against a poor Pompey team on Tuesday.

Credit where due to Riza, got it spot on today.

Id love to hear from a player what it was like training under Bulut and now Omar, im so confused to how the team must of trainer under Bulut.

I know every game not like today, but even Hull we made chances, Millwall, we were all over Bristol but formation change cost us and now today.

Wingers playing like Wingers, Attacking mid moving around dictating the game etc

Massive result and great performance especially cm 3 impressive movements and flowing football. Riza apart from Bristol away with some strange subs have done good. I know Hull 4-1 was bad but putting that down as still trying to sort out buluts tactics confidence etc

It looked like the coach worked out what every player is good at and set a system up to suit them, not shoehorn them into a preconceived system.

We have spent as a management team and fans concentrating on what players can't do rather than what they are good at.

Colwill needs to be a free spirit, he won his fair share of duels, but he found space and the player found him.

The wingers were direct although i am not sure if the old El Garzi ever returns, Tanner needs to go for the throat and Rubin dictates that.

Robinson find pockets, is a willing runner, again Rubin found him, he is never the most deadly finisher but he has movement

At home we never needed 2 DCM, so not having any, but 2 "8"'s was a revelation, the passing was so much crisper and quicker.

A few too many risks at the back for my liking, but we drew them on and cut through them with ease, so at least i can see why we are doing it unike Bulutball.

On the downside, our bench isn't very deep

I have had no confidence in this squad from the start and I could not believe why some people who know their football disagreed with me.

I accepted relegation from the off but knew something had to happen to prevent a total collapse. Usually it starts with getting rid of the manager but who could replace him and get something out of this squad was my thinking. Well the answer seems to be staring us in the face.

Our football has gone from total dire to fairly entertaining. It seems to me we have just tweeked something and voila. It feels like the squad had the confidence but needed to be allowed to do it. That is what is happen ing in front of our eyes and there is only one man who should take the credit.

How good was it to watch city and the comments say they were a joy to watch? We can only hope that Omar changes nothing for the Pompey game unless it's injuries, tell them to go out and score a few again. We all know football doesn't work like that but another home win would be great.
Yesterday we got ourselves off the bottom of the table, more than doubled our goal tally, and we are not the lowest scorers in the league at the moment, that accolade goes to Preston and the Jacks equally.
Just one question, I can never understand a goalkeeper being made captain, wasn't there an outfield player better suited?

You did not accept relegation from the off. You thought we would be mid table.

It changed after our poor start.

Nothing to do with Riza, mate. All he does is pick random names out of the hat. And hope the 1st out 11 include a keeper :D

I like the style and manner in which he’s got the team playing. Congrats to him, his coaching staff and the players.
1st time in a long time I’ve enjoyed watching us. :occasion5:

Maybe but nobody I can think of off the top of my head. Never bothered me having the keeper as captain though, they tend to spend more time watching the game than most & as long as he's a strong voice that the players respect then it's all good.
