Rubin Colwill unreal

Been a big critic of Rubin.

He's shut me up today, been unreal.

Even added goals and assists which is what I wanted.

Outstanding.

Same but like you say he's had a great game today. It's been his consistency that's been the issue, we all know there's a player in there so hopefully he just gets better with this run of games.

Without doubt an outstanding performance…he has to back it up now

He has been excellent today I am just hoping he will be the same on Tuesday night and get rid of the inconsistency. We all know he is a talent and today was his best game in a City shirt for me

He's going to the top

Like I said, fair play he made me eat my words today.

Always wanted goals and assists from him. He got both today :thumbright:

Him and Robertson outstanding.

Not sure I remember anyone saying he was useless, inconsistent yes but not useless.

Not taking anything away from Robinson or Robertson who were outstanding but that's up there with one of the best individual performances I've seen for long time.

Always finding space in dangerous areas and Plymouth didn't have a clue how to stop him.

Been asking to give him a consistent run in the team and we're starting to see what happens when you believe in talented youngsters and are patient to allow them to learn, let them grow and don't heavily restrict them.

People we're expecting him to be an 18 year old Rooney but RC was still growing in his 20s.

Scary but we won't see the best of him until he's played another 10 games!!

Little bit of credit to Bulet he was banging on for 18 months about Rubin having to get fitter and work on his all round game

He definitely come back this season fitter and stronger been outstanding last few games

Just posted something saying I don't think that performance would happen with Bulut.

Re: Rubin Colwill unreal

He had a similar performance against Southampton and Bulut still didn't play him.

Terrible manager who had the quality of Robertson and Colwill in his squad and hardly used them!

Cheers Ned,

Rubin has proved a lot of people wrong.

I’ve always believed in Him and would have Rubin start every game.

Yeh I remeber there was a couple saying how shit he was , I think the one guy has been kicked off the site , I couldn’t understand where they were coming from but they haven’t been on here lately

People who supported Colwill felt he was treated dreadfully by Bulut. He usually came on when bluebirds were 2 nil down and if he did not turn it around it was all his fault. He needed a run of games and now is the first 1 on the team sheet. If he wants to be in the premiership he needs to be more consistent re scoring and assists.

I'm one of those he's proven wrong and I'm delighted to admit it.

Always had the talent but now is developing the ability to influence games and is looking difficult to shrug off the ball.

One slight criticism is that I'd love to see him play the full game a bit more but if he can contribute as much as he did today for 65 minutes then it's hard to be too critical!

Well done Rubin.

The difference from Bulut is huge and appreciated.

But I don't want him to get the job.

I still believe we need an experienced Championship manager.

But I can see why Tan would give him the job if we beat Pompey.

I agree.

Would also want to see somebody with Championship experience appointed.

When we lose or draw it’s the managers fault but when we win 5-0 it’s all down to Ruben :laughing5:

Not really.

I've also given credit to Riza? I've criticised Rubin many times because he doesn't get goals or assists so it's only right I give him credit today for getting both.

While he was outstanding with his game play and assists also the goal...... can I just say one little area thought he was weak and that's going past players on a run he can beat players in close proximity easily but take ball past them and go forward he just lacks the pace and still didn't look 100% fit! I know bit critical but just an observation....

Allan, to be fair, not his fault if he doesn't have pace.

Used all his tools well today - and I'm a critic of his.
