just read carls update ,regarding the point that hell play against the brizzle and be rested against the cov, doesnt come as a surprise ,upon googling his stats he played 40 games for man city last season ,in previous seasons for newcastle, west ham ,liverpool, and blackburn hes averaged around 30 games a season
in my opinion if he plays 30 games for us this season itll be a result ,so far in the the blue shirt played 3 won 3 long may that continue!!!!!!

I will be happy with 30 games, but I reckon 25 max.

totally agree ,his presence on the field in my opinion is invaluable ,apart from his awsome talent ,his desire to not accept defeat will undoubtley rub off on the other players,i think the last few games we havnt played well but the table still reads second!
we still in 3rd gear ! dj hasnt played his prefered formation since the pompey game ,with chops back ,im sure we can settle down into a regular system and start to move up!!!!

Keeping him fit will be vital. If he plays Saturday and has no build up of
fluids, no serious twinges.... then he may TRAVEL to Coventry!!!
Just having him on the team bus will focus the rest of the squad
My bet for the season is 28 games, plenty!!!

totally agree taf ,bellars gave an interview on radio 5 live explaining of how he was paying for a personal trainer,a dutch fella called "raymond "he attributed his 40 games last year to the way hes being advised,im sure dj is kept in the picture as well as,which im sure is a good arrangement and will benefit craig and city
remember its a marthon not a sprint ,can you imagine a fit craig bellamy at wembley last may !!!!!

I would much prefer if Craig's appearances were weighted towards the business end of the season, and if Chopra is fit use bellars for 40 mins every other game.
Its also his presence in the squad that gives us the edge on last season.

I think personally he has a game limit set in the loan agreement.
I.e 25 Games a season......Lets be honest it makes sense?
At the end of the day Man City are going to want to sell him next may and would want the best price. Cannot sell someone whom is injured and a considerable risk without taking a huge loss on outlay. Maybe they will happily take a huge loss if that did happen. They Would want to look after their asset hence a game limit.
Just my opinion probably wrong though
