I have a soft spot for Aberystwyth Town F.C, I was stranded in a tiny village called Llangyrig on my way back to Uni, no idea how to get there and a stroke of luck, their away support coach dropped off a fan who lived there, so I asked if I could hitch a ride with them and they told me to hop on, free of charge!
Gonna try and watch a few games of theirs now, I guess I owe them that!

I know someone who plays for Llanelli, don't particularly like him, but, he was in school with me. Craig Moses, quite decent at the game if I'm honest. In fact, Peterborough were looking at him last summer!

Jack Christopher is a great talent, always see him on Sgorio scoring some 30 yard volley.

Now playing for Camarthen Town.

Even though they're not in the Prem at the moment. NEATH FC! I love the Gnoll Park

When Barry Town were there, I use to watch out for their results, since they were demoted from it, lost total interest in it.

When I was a kid and too young to travel away with the city I used to watch Maesteg Park play when city were away. They used to be a decent team in them days and in the top division.

I watch Taffs Well on a regular basis if City are away only £5 to get in and you can have a pint and watch the football
Welsh League is not a bad standard played by honest commited footballers

My WPL side was always Cwmbran Town who will always have their place in history as the first winners of the WPL in 1992.
They have hit hard times recently and are way down the Welsh Pyramid System but I am confident the crows will come back one day.
I still say that the WPL should be a summer league because if it was I would be a Cwmbran Town season ticket holder with something to do during the boring summer months.

Is Trundle still contracted to Neath now? £2500 a week in that league is unbelievable
Wed Jul 04, 2012 1:34 pm
Neath went bust I think.
