i listened to real radio tonight, jason perry was on there and spoke alot of sense.
everything to do with welsh international football at present is wrong.

I have seen worse individual players turn out for Wales, but boy they were proud to represent their country. Perhaps the qualification rule is to blame?

The best squad was in 1958 since then utter shite. Ive heard the WFA is run by greedy arseholes and there only concern is what they can get out of it not what they put in. That needs to be sorted before Welsh football can sort itself out.

ticket prices are to high.
welsh football is not marketed correctly.
greedy players would rather sign a bumper 3 yr deal at there club than play for there country and risk injury.
he thinks wales need a manager with character not nessesserily the best qualified. basically someone the fans can relate to, and a man who will bring the fans back.

Pretty much spot on. Playing for Wales appears to be a chore for many players.

Look at the difference between Wales & Northern Ireland. Individually Wales have better players, but as a team they are miles apart.

They havent got the worse theam, just loads of injuries atm

A crying shame, but I have to agree with you on that point....

Half-hearted performances, petty drop-outs (inc. Gunter's deliberate sending off antics) and early 'get me out of here I'm a minor league celebrity and need to earn club cash for a little longer' retirements. No money in internationals, see!!

I feel for anyone who bought into the 'season ticket' offer. Still 3 meaningless games to go ....although I suppose they get to watch England at the Millennium Stadium!!

Gabidons retired from international football Chief. Matthews needs to play regular first team football, Ledley just dosn't cut the mustard any more, Ched Evans is very overated, Cotterill is just not good enough, Just my opinion Chief

I think British International teams are dead in the water.

The money and prestie of the premiership/championship matter more. Think England in the world cu summed it up, knw they were not good enough to win it and most players there seemed to have preferd to have been on a summer break!!

Agree. Only Ramsey and Bellamy would make much of a difference in a Welsh shirt. How the feck you can class Cotterill and Evans in the same breath is baffling. And Ledley is carrying too much weight on his shoulders....not sure if it's his crock of gold or a guilty conscience!!

that match back in the 90's away to Holland when we got dicked 7 - 0 and Vinny was captain HAS to be the worst ever team in my living memory !

Agree... shameful to be honest.

I blame mark Hughes for turning players against Wales after his departure and Toshack for upsetting so many older players that they quit international football ................ I hope 1 or 2 change their minds and make themselves available . What happened to Freddy Eastwood has he has to be a million times better than either Chruch or Morison and there must be other Welsh strikers out there apart from Ched Evans and Sam Vokes ?
