it takes more than that to be a good centre back, I think his presence in front of the front 4 is more vital and he would be wasted at centre half.

He probably could play centre half, but would he be better there than the ones there now ? I'm not sure, he isn't as dominant in the air as I expected -and thats against little midfielders. Has he got pace ? Really? I didnt think so. His ability to me seems more about strength and getting a foot in then playing simple balls.
Besides which, take him out of midfield and you'll have to find someone to fill in.

You'd be weakening 2 positions, so its a no for me, unless we're right in the shit. (Hudson injured, Blake sent off and Quinn missing too)
