Two of our early Sky Bet Championship matches have been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.

The first South Wales derby of the season will now take place on Sunday, 25th August 2024 at the Swansea.com Stadium, with kick-off at 3pm.

Our home clash with Middlesbrough will now kick-off at the earlier time of 12:30pm on Saturday, 31st August 2024.

Ticket details for our 2024/25 Championship fixtures will be released in due course.

TV selections for matches between September and the period up to the FA Cup Third Round in early January will be confirmed prior to the start of the 2024/25 season, as part of the new broadcast arrangement between the EFL and Sky Sports. For more information, please click here.

To be fair, as it says in that statement they will announce all TV matches up until January before the season starts.

So there will be increased notice for fans.

Sky pay more and more money so will expect more for their money - if you look at it from their point of view.

It would only stop if the clubs said no to the money, which won’t happen.

I agree, Ned; football sold its (proverbial) soul to the devil and the devil is Sky…

Most people accept that; just as they accepted the money received on our brief sojourns to the Premier League…

Plenty of notice given in reality and whilst I have sympathy with the travelling Borough support, we know it will happen to us at some point this season… :ayatollah:
