He is.
I'd have him as 2nd over Keenor.
Was my grandfathers favourite player and marked the best wingers in the country out of the game.

He 's told me that whenever he marked Stanley Matthews he never gave him a kick, gotta be in the list for sure,no disrespect intended but what are some of the names doing on the list?

my old man told me the same. Also said Ivor Allchurch was some player even though he played many more games for the jacks than us.

I can just remember Allchurch and the great John Charles but they both joined us at the end of their careers so although they were both legends, they wern't quite CCFC legends so in my opinion would'nt make the list.

They reckon Alf used to put a block on Stan matthews everytime.
i saw Alf play for Newport County in the 60s.
He went in goal in 1 game.No subs in those days.
len Weare the keeper got injured in the game and was a passenger on the wing.

I used to have a video history of City.
On there is Mel Charles running from the half way to score a cracker against the Jacks.
