The right man to be manager of Hereford(if he gets the job), they are Bottom of Division 4 .
I think Lawrence is the Nice Guy of Football and Maybe Not Tough enough.
Opinions please

I missed most of his reign with us due to living abroad. I do recall though that when we had our bad year in the Championship, second season, and we were fighting a relegation battle most felt he was the right guy to have at that time.
I am a bit confused how he did a good job at Charlton when they were in the top flight but failed with us as we climb the leagues.

No-crap manager.
The squad of players we had in season 1 after the play off victory over qpr was easily good enough to get into the top 6. Lennie was too much of a yes man to Sam.

I got us prommoted did well first season in the champinship but we started to drop a bit under Lennie.
Hamman then announced our mess (Black Friday) we had to sell players including our captain (Kav) we were in
a relegation battle and I thought thats it but fair play to Lennie he did the impossible and kept us up even after selling a few players.
Evan the players who stayed new there was a chance they will be gone at the end of the season so I think Lennie did ok..

No confusion really. Money was tight at the City at that time and Lenny had to manage in the time-honoured Cardiff way, i.e. with oine hand tied behind his back.....
Did a good job under tough conditions....and was a pleasant, unassuming character
Hope he gets the job at Hereford

Compared to Dave Jones over the same number of matches at City Lennie has the better record.

FACT
Lennie has 1 ½ seasons at league 1 level and 2 seasons at championship level. He also had a fair chunk of money to spend for most of his time here. Jones has played the whole time at championship level and played with smaller funds.
The season we got promoted he got extremely lucky. The side we had then should have been challenging for top 6 in the championship and he only managed to creep into 6th place in league 1. Fortunately we got promoted but apart from his first half a season when we lost to Stoke he was an awful manager.
