Mahlon Romeo his future at Cardiff?
The right-back had a decent maiden campaign in the Welsh capital. He was a constant on the right-hand side and his marauding runs and sprawling defending endeared him to City fans.
Like Callum Robinson, he has had his issues, missing games due to disciplinary action taken by the club, and has been in-and-out of the side, with player of the season Perry Ng nailing down that spot on the right-hand-side of defence.
Off-field issues once again came to light this week when Romeo pleaded guilty to drink driving and abusing a police officer on February 8, two days before he was named on the bench in the 2-0 home defeat by Preston North End.
Romeo has been down this road before when he played for Millwall, in Court and guilty again.
He has a year left to run on his current deal and he will doubtless be a player the manager will run the rule over in the summer.

I know he's been in and out of the side this season (more out) but his form (IMO) has been poor. He's not looked interested, has often been second to 50/50 balls and seemed to have just been going through the motions. Not for me.
Off the field I hope he gets any issues sorted (and the help he may need) as these things do have a habit of cropping up again and again.

Yep, been to court, been punished, if he needs help then hopefully he will get it-time to move on.
If I had played in some of those games last season I would be drinking as well!

We need to know who our manager is for next season - who can then pick his squad for the season ahead
