Should Giggs be our next marquee signing in January?

In short no. I would much prefer Steven Taylor of Newcastle to strengthen the back 4 (posted yesterday). He would definately be a decent addition to the squoad and his contract is being run down. If we're in a good position in January I think we'd be as viable an option as anyone.

Well there are already rumblings at Man United that Giggs and Scholes are over the hill so it would not surprise me if the mancs offloaded both, if not in January then defo next summer and why shouldn't we go for him. To answer your question he would pay for himself. Just the mention of his name in a Cardiff City shirt would make millions in the far east in image rights, advertising and sponsorship not to mention the interest it would attract here at home. You have to speculate to accumulate mate. If he was available I think we should go all out to get him. I wonder if he's on Jonesys shopping list for January
