Hiya mate.

Do you and your lot need any stuff out there.

I was thinking if you stick yr addy up and give us all an idea
of what stuff your all desperate for you should get a few parcels
off this site.

If its already been done, then forgive me, im a soft c**t

If not... 2kg in a small box lads, or jiffy bag. Dont take a lot of effort
but means a hell of a lot to the lads who get them!!!

Im an instructor in army cadets and we send several shoe boxes off to the troops at christmas. Sweets, playing cards, tennis balls, etc. Don't cost much but can fetch a lot of happiness to our hard working troops.

The Post Office do have a cut off point where they say they'll no longer guarantee it gets
to them before Xmas but thats some time away yet I think. Pakistan should have no bearing
as all the mail is flown in. My lad not been over there for nearly two years now (April he goes again :( )
so i cant remember the kind of stuff they like. Maybe someone else on here has a more current
relative or friend out there who will have a better idea. But:

DVDs (yes they like porn too)
boiled sweets
Them one cup sachets of ovaltine/horlicks/capuccino
Magazines
Books
pot noodle type stuff
lipsyl
hand cream
tins of condensed milk
Haribos

Wait to see what the feller gets back with but if every person reading this thread sent one parcel
then surely he'd get at least 50 boxes?? Winner!!!

On a more personal note Ceri: Im on me arse a bit with work etc lately, so anything you dont read/eat
or wank over, could you please send back    :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ladies and Gents

I am once again truly humbled by your acts of very kind generosity. Believe it or not where Iam I can get quiet a lot qnd hqve no need of qnything other than seeing my beloved team and a bloody good glass of whisky, I have my family sending me stuff as I speak and am awaiting my first replen of shower gel and shampoo.

Some of the lads in the FOBs, PBs and CPs are also getting parcels from our generous public. However if you want to send a free 2kg parcel things we need are toiletriees (very expensive out here), rehydration drink powders (god its hot at he moment but we are approqching winter where we expect snow) Porn is an absolute no no. If you get seen or caught its a heavy punishment the same as booze and mobile telephones.

To send a parcel and this is me guessing sen it to a British Soldier,16 Air Assauly Brigade, Op HERRICK 13. BFPO 792.

Once again I am truly humbled and proud of our general public supporting your soldiers

Fair play to you mate. I will send a couple of boxes today!!

I sent my one out a couple of small bottles of lilt (filled up with Vodka) on one box
and it got through ;) They were indeed freezing their nuts off at the time on
FOB Robinson. The vodka was like gold dust to them. I have heard theyve tightened
things up . Hand cream too, apparently once the cold sets in your hands suffer with
cracks and cuts and its fairly important to be able to hold your weapon properly

Anyone who reads this today should go find a small box or jiffy bag, wrap it proper with
parcel tape and get one sent out. Your talking an hour or less out of your day, maybe a
fiver. But the feller who opens it at the other end will be your friend for life.
