If I may, just a few questions...

Is there an issue with the Mobile site at the moment? I'm having to access via Desktop as my mobile says " Request Header fields too large' ?? Is it my technology, as Ive not had that issue before?

Also, any news on the message function yet please?

Hi both - thanks for highlighting this to us. I thought that issue had been resolved, but let me double check.

If you try clearing cookies or restart your phone it should resolve it, as it's a browser issue unfortunately, but I will double check the fix in the meantime.

Also getting this. Anyone know how I clear my cookies?

Could you try again to see if mobile is working now? I have another option which I'll try next, but hopefully it should be working. It will also work from private/incognito browser, but appreciate that's not a permanent fix!

I have the same when accessing through standard android browser.

If i use google chrome, as i am now, it works.

Yes same for me and most people, but some strange error is causing a small number of people issues.

Hopefully we're tweaked some settings and refreshed things which should resolve it. But let me know if anyone continues to have problems.

I had an issue with slowness using chrome on Android for some reason but I use the desktop layout as I prefer it. The mobile layout seemed OK. I've switched browsers, I use several as they block annoying ads like the awful WOL sites which are almost unusable with pop ups and shite.

Adblock plus is what I'm using currently for this site and it's nice and whizzy. Firefox also a shout and a couple of others.

I had the same message and read that I had to clear my cookies to make it disappear, which thankfully it did.

Ive got a Samsung A25, and Im using Chrome.....

It should have been resolved by now, but if you're still having issues on your phone try this (Chrome on android phone):


Click on icon next to address bar:

Click 'Cookies and site data'

Click on the bin icon.

That should delete site cookies and all should be working nicely again.

Just done that Owain worked a treat.

I restarted my phone. Did the job for me

Sorry for all of the hassle - all related to ad cookies that are a necessary evil to keep the site running!
