BIGGEST AWAY ATTENDANCES AT HOME

Fri Apr 26, 2024 10:48 am

Games in 50 years this season , not worked out the figures yet but it’s been good to see.

At least 7 away sellouts at CCS

Time to increase the away end to 5,000 next season .

Why not , the stadium holds 33,280 , with an average attendance of 21,132

Large travelling support has no bearing on players in the Premier League and Championship

The atmosphere is getting worse, I feel like your suggestion would just make it even harder to hear the city fans.

How can it get any worse than it is now , ultimately it’s up to the fans to make an atmosphere. Southampton fans were very quickly silenced on Saturday when City upped the tempo

Not in favour of increasing the away end to 5k.

Who will be in the Championship next season that would bring that many?

Teams that will be in the league next season:

Hull
Coventry
Middlesbrough
Preston
Bristol City
Sunderland
Swansea
Watford
Millwall
Stoke
QPR
Blackburn
Portsmouth
Sheffield United
Burnley

Whoever doesn’t go up from the top six - three of Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds, Southampton, West Brom and Norwich.

One of Forest or Luton

Two out of Plymouth, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham, Huddersfield

One of Derby or Bolton

League One play-off winners (Derby, Bolton, Peterborough, Barnsley, Lincoln or Oxford)

There are maybe a maximum of four or five teams there that would bring anywhere near 5k.

Just don’t think there’s any value in doing it.

Just increase it when required, like many clubs do presently
