Been quite interesting with a few seeds going out in the first round - including Selby, Brecel and Carter.

Personally I can see it all being set for Ronnie O’Sullivan to win his eighth title. He begins his tournament on Wednesday.

Having a great season, he’s already won both the UK Championship and The Masters.

Could be his last real chance to win that record breaking eighth and get the feeling he’ll really go for it this year.

Even more seeds dropping with Mark Williams and Ding also going out.

O’Sullivan already looks like a man on a mission and has an 8-1 overnight lead in his first round match.
