" JOHN TOSHACK "

Many Fans are now saying We should have Toshack Back ?

Its like when DJ does well Virtually everyone is a dJ Fan, loose a few and many want him out, win a few he is a Saint lol.

The Question is, Do We move on and look for a new manager, give Flynn a few games, Do we regret Toshack went ?

My Opinion, Toshack had to go and We may as well stick with Flynn for a few games, but also be on the look out for a New Manager if things get worse.
Once again its virtually over for Wales and as usual we now have to look to the Next Tournament, We have to get it right this time, as Crowds will get lower and lower.

New manager I think, Flynn has just got what tosh left behind. Needs a fresh re think. I liked what tosh was trying to do but we ate just a small weak nation so it just didn't work out. Love to see someone come in and instill some passion. Get the boys wanting it!!!

Flynn was put in an impossible situation. I was glad to see the back of Toshack as he's a bit of a dinosaur, but I would have kept him on for these 2 games and then got rid so we have a bit of time to look for his successor

I said 'Bring Toshack back!' sarcastically... I can't believe people genuinely meant it!

You can't judge a manager on one game but I was expecting better tonight. We lacked energy going forward. I lost count how many times 8 or 9 of our team were just jogging out of our area as we countered. I felt the only players who looked like creating something last night were Vaughan, Ledley and Bale... then he took Ledley off.

Morison did well up front but had no support. I honestly felt if we'd gone 4-4-2 with the following team we would have won...

GK: Hennessy
DR: Gunter
DL: Ricketts
DC: Collins
DC: Williams
MR: Vaughan
ML: Bale
MC: Ledley
MC: Stock
FC: Morison
FC: Church

Where was this licence to attack that Flynn talked about? All I saw was a 4-5-1 with the midfield getting dominated, their defence winning everything and Ashley Williams giving the ball away loads.

Welsh football needs a complete & utter over haul from top to bottom, starting with the association members themselves. They had the chance to change years ago, but bottled it.

Toshack was going no where. Most of us realised that years ago so had ot go.

Flynn is the popular choice but is it the right one. He has done well at U21 but the step up is a big one. Its too early to judge him after one game but last night did not help his cause. If the FAW get lucky and find a big name like El Tel then we will have a new manager. After that I am struggling ot see who could step in outside the El Tel range.

I think Stock was injured last night, although I may be wrong. However, I have a feeling that, by bringing Danny Collins in from the wilderness, he felt an obligation to play him and he must like Ricketts (did he have him when he was swansea manager?), but why play him out of position at centre back and play another centre back out of position in midfield? These experiments should be left for friendlies, not games when we need a win

doesn't really matter who is in charge

Wales would struggle to get into the premier cup

I backed JT six years ago when he was appointed the manager, but i can't help thinking we have gone backwards a few decades since then, the crowds certainly have.

Tosh had to go in the end.

Personally I wanted Flynn to stay as U21 manager as I think he would be a great loss to them but he also deserves his chance for these two games. I think its a little harsh to judge him just on last night though.

Personally I'd give Flynn this campaign. We have 0 chance of progressing now so why not see how he does after 5 or 5 games. You cannot get used to a new manager after 2 games. Flynn has had what a 5 days with a squad before his first match? 5 days for him to get to know them and them to him

Toshack have dug us in to a big hole and it's going to take a lot to get us out again.

He did exactly what I would have done had they given me the Wales job when they did. I know nothing about managing Wales, I admit that. So if I had been given the job I would have sold the old "building for the future" bullshit. First thing I would have done was get rid of all the old heads and replace them with kids. That way no one is going to get on my back for at least 4 or 5 years whilst I don't deliver any wins.

Then when the kids start to come of age and questions are asked about my lack of success, I simply do one and leave it for someone else to pick up the mess. This trick isn't just reserved for Welsh football, they did it in Welsh rugby for years as well. They turned so many corners during the 80's, 90's and 00's they they came back on themselves a dozen times.

The problem is that winning and losing becomes a habit. They best way to bring kids through is to add them one at a time to a good team who are getting results. Throwing a bunch of kids together who are going to get their arses kicked is the absolute worst thing you could ever do. Their heads must drop every time the Wales phone rings.

Toshack taught our kids two things:
1. How to lose.
2. How to turn your back on Wales and not want to play.

Whoever the next manager is he'll have a massive task of not only getting people wanting to pull on the red shirt but he'll also have a mammoth task getting it in to their heads that they can actually go out on the pitch and expect to win.
