Hull owner Acun Ilicali on Jaden Philogene’s price-tag this summer:

“We got Philogene for €5m, now he’s €30m.

“But we have no intention to give him away for 30.”

They won’t get that Good friend of mine has said he has been very average in the last month He is either brilliant or the worst player on the pitch and never having a 7 out of 10 game

Agree with that. He’s a good age but even so, not worth £30m. I hear that he blows hot and cold. Goes through spells of being unplayable but then can offer nothing for weeks.

Ned, he was the same with us. Some moments of complete brilliance but then would go missing for a number of games.

If someone can get him to consistently perform, then he would be at a mid table PL club without a doubt
