Erol Bulut: “ They invested, spent money & bought quality “

Postby Forever Blue » Wed Apr 03, 2024 10:16 am

Erol Bulut:

About Saturday's game v Hull City, Bulut said:

"It will be a tough game, because Hull have a great team and they invested well at the start of the season and in January they spent a lot of money.”

“Hull have quality players, took quality players in, but that doesn't mean their team goes well.”

“Right now Hull have a bit of a problem, last week they lost and then they lost to Leeds.”

"Saturday will be a tough game but we will do out best."

Including Jaden Philogene who since he left us has got better and better. He blew hot and cold for us but clearly with other good players around him he is doing well.

Not doing so great atm though. Manager complaining that he’s not offering enough and isn’t tracking back. Fans complaining that he’s walking straight down tunnel without acknowledging fans.

Hull have spent a lot of money.
They’ve got an up and coming manager but a lot of loan players on high wages.
I wonder how patient their owner will prove to be?
Let’s see if we can add to their problems.

Maybe

I think Hull are one of the clubs in danger, if their 'plan' doesn't work soon...

I thought they look a very good side against Leeds and should have come away with a result.

Their business has been very good over the last 2 seasons. They sold one player for quite a bit of money and reinvested it all back into the squad. Personally I think they are a striker away from going for it next season.
