Over the years it has been plain to see that Craig Bellamy has been 100% committed to Wales regardless.
It is also likely that his main ambition in life was to get Wales to qualify for a major Championship throughout his playing career.
But ambitions can change and after he became a Cardiff City player it is my opinion and this was backed up by Dai Bishop this week, that Craigs main priority this season is to get Cardiff City into the premier league.
Perhaps after the defeat in Montonegro Craig can see that his international ambitions seem again to be less likely and now he will commit to securing Cardiff City's push for promotion instead.
Could this be the end of Craig Bellamys international career, in a way and i know i may be selfish but i hope it is so he can concentrate on his main priority.

During the interview when Craig signed for Cardiff he told the press that helping Cardiff to promotion would be bigger than winning 100 caps for Wales, in fact said it would be the biggest achievement of his career. The media never really picked up on this which at the time surprised me because I thought Craig was saying then where he saw his priorities.
I think the clock is already ticking on Craig announcing his International retirement and I expect it to be sooner rather than later

Even if playing for your country puts your career at risk?
Exactly how many away games did Giggs play for Wales? Very few. But no one questioned him, so perhaps they should just leave Bellers alone.

No one has a go at Savage for not turning out for his country because of a dispute with Toshack. I've seen Bellamy play in a meaningless game for Wales against Poland in Portugal. He has made himself available for Wales more than any other Welsh player yet is getting slated for not playing last night, why?
Why is because the slating is coming from the Jacks who are bitter and twisted about him playing for Cardiff now. If he was still at Man City none of this slating would have happened. So common sense goes out of their tiny Jacks mines when it comes to why he did not play last night. He is in his 30s and has come to a stage where he needs to ask if he can play for both club and country. His priority now is Cardiff City and those that dont like it, well bollocks to them.

Yeah, and as for Giggs and plenty of other players, everytime they did a 'No Show', I questioned their commitment.....

Hmmm, I wouldn't be too sure on that one. The next campaign is a fair way off...and Craig has nothing to prove to anyone in Wales (the Jacks don't count, of course, as they don't have an opinion!!)![]()

Hmmm, that paints a picture of your beliefs.
