“ Sandro Tonali charged with betting offences again “

Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali, who is serving a ten month ban from the Italian Football Federation for betting offences, has been charged with 50 more counts of betting offences this season by the FA.

The Italy player has been banned since October and now could face a further heavy ban - although the FA could allow any new ban to run at the same time as his current ban.

His current ban means he can’t play again until August and will miss Euro 2024.

Sad, as he obviously has a problem. Hope he gets the help he needs.
